The place has two floors and TVs galore. Staff are very nice and attentive. Food is great with just about anything you want.
Sports bar with a typically college aged crowd providing decently priced food, and good beer selection.
Sadly not impressed with this place. Great location, impressive esthetics. But the place seems poorly run a staff does not seem... like they even want to be there. I don't think the management or ownership has cared much about this place in a long time. What a rip off. We recently stopped by for happy hour and were taken aback by the Convenience Fee added to our check. it was an... additional 3.7% added to our check. When I asked, "what was it?", it was for using a credit card. What!!!! most credit cardcompanies charge 2.5% and they are just ripping off folks and you don't know until you get your bill. Also, i checked the checkand, of course, they tried to charge us non-happy prices on a few drinks. I made them correct it. AVOID THIS PLACE. Read more
Twice in the past couple of months, I have left this place feeling like something was put in my drink by one of the bartenders.... I inquired with some other friends to see if this was a common feeling and multiple people have said they felt this way as well.I just saw another google review from a girl saying she thinks her friend's drink was spiked by a bartender. AND a completestranger I met at another bar over the weekend said, out of nowhere, that "something shady is going on at Mario's, I think theyspiked my girlfriend's drink." All of these instances seem too similar to be considered a coincidence at this point. I trulythink something is going on here. Read more
Decent food, decent vibes. Small menu but I'm not good with choices anyway ????
The bad outweighs the good. The good: the drinks; the appetisers; attentive server; restroom had both paper towels and air... dryer, and motion sensor water faucet had good flow of water that lasted a good while. The bad: restroom has strong smell ofurine, graffiti not cleaned off of walls; wife said women's restroom smelled also; ordered large Hawaiian pizza...it had about 5pieces of pineapple for the whole pizza! That's less than one piece of pineapple per slice, ruined the experience. Didn't blamesever, I tipped him $10 on a $24 tab. Was with friends and I ate some of the food they ordered. Chips and salsa was good andpretzel was excellent. Chicken wings were great. We've been to worse places and we might go back. Hope they clean the restroommore often. Will not order Hawaiian pizza. Students. Many students. Got there at 8 pm to make sure we had a table and the place was quiet and empty. By 9:15 you could... barely hear yourself think. We had some so so drinks. Tater tots good snack but not great. Wings were good! At the end of thenight we wanted the check and despite searching for the server for 30 min, she was nowhere to be found. Both bars told us theycouldn't help. So we ended up reluctantly leaving without settling the tab (she had scanned our card). Annoying though is thatshe proceeded to take 20% gratuity! While she did a great job until vanishing, I would not have gone further than 10% at thispoint. Read more
