Great local bar. Since we moved to the area we've been looking for somewhere close with great bar food (wings, pizza,etc) and we... finally found it. We've been here 3 times and it's been great all 3 times. We love the wings and the nachos the most. We willdefinitely be back and are trying to make it a weekly stop. The staff is always friendly and it's a normal bar atmosphere. Ifyou stop here definitely get wings wings and pizza, you won't be disappointed! Read more
Not a bad bar, seems like it could be a good time. It was my first time being there, I met up with friends who are regulars... there and I've heard a lot of good/bad stories about the place. When we got there for wing night around 9pm the bar was prettydead, there was 5 of us in our group and maybe 4 other people in there. When we sat at the bar to order the bartender wasnowhere to be found waited 15 mins before she came out from the back, and she was TRASHED! She could barely take orders and evencharged us for an extra drink that was supposed to be on a friend's tab. Ordered wings and they took almost an hour an a half.Two customers before us were waiting at the bar said the bartender kept disappearing and took so long they cancelled their orderof wings and left. Wings were really good, a little too crispy and dry on the ends, if they were pulled out just a few minsearlier and the would have been the perfect crisp, but still amazing! Not sure if someone else made them or if it was the drunkbartender. We still made the best of it and still had a great time. Seems like a nice place but I don't want my bartendertrashed at 9pm and unable to keep track of people's orders...Hoping that my next experience is a better one and I can update myreview! Read more
Discovered this place by just passing by and have been back 3 times. The food is REALLY good (wings especially), but the... beverage selection could use some improvement. Almost 65% (I did some math by looking at their selection on the wall) of theirbeers/beverages are seltzers or something else other than beer. In my opinion, they could use a few more IPAs and other beersvice alcoholic seltzers and other similar drinks. Read more
Their wings are incredible, especially the Honey Jalapeno. I started coming to McMinn's about 6 years ago when I lived a few... blocks away. At the time, it just happened to be the closest place to grab a drink and some food. After a few visits, I feltwelcome and got to know some of the people. A few years later, I had to move and couldn't go back nearly as often. Moving awaywas a downer because I still haven't found a bar I liked as much as McMinn's in my new neighborhood. Read more
Fantastic local hang out with incredibly friendly staff and a cozy feel. The locals seem to enjoy this place and are welcoming... to 'visitors'. Obviously a local favorite, they even hosted a brand event for Deep Eddy vodka while I was visiting. Free boozeand swag is never a bad thing. The food is about what you would expect in a bar, but on the upper end of the scale. Veryreasonable prices and plenty to eat, everything I've ordered was quite tasty and fresh. This has taken top ranks on my list oflocal pubs. I plan to be a regular. Read more
