Went to an event catered by McFadden's tonight. The food was spectacular! I would have given atmosphere 5 stars, but it was... FREEZING in the room they had us in. Wanted to eat dinner before the game and we had JUST ordered drinks when the power went out! All we could order was some nachos,... which was delish. Our server was very nice and she tried hard, but there wasn't a lot she could serve. The power came back onas we were leaving for the game, so I guess we will have to go back to find out how the rest of the menu is! Visited for first time last night. Very, very busy due to Pirate baseball game. We waited about 45 minutes for a table. The... staff was very apologetic and super nice. We waited over an hour for a food and our server waived our meals because it took solong for two burgers. That was so nice of them to do. So the girl server with Yankee hat & guy server who is tall with beard,serving behind the host section. You guys rock! Polite & kicking butt last night. Food & drinks great too. We?ll be back. ???? I don't expect much from food but my tater tots were amazing!! I ordered the Irish nachos while substituting chips for tots. ... Staff HUSTLED as we were there prior to a Pirates game. Could be a tad cleaner and less sticky but overall, great jobMcFadden's! Read more
Fun and relaxed atmosphere right next to PNC Park. Grabbed a quick lunch right before a game. Friendly, attentive staff. Food... came out fast and hot. Ordered Fish and fries and a Reuben. Everything was delicious. Definitely hitting this spot again whenwe're in town. Read more
Every city I go, I try to search for the best place to truly have some fun when it comes to night life. Traveling through town... for The Raiders-Steelers game, we found McFaddens and knew we'd found our spot. Spent from 6p to 130am here, over $250 later indrinks and dinner, called it a night. A fantastic party for both fan bases to get together and have some fun. They had a greatDJ, and prices were reasonable, at about $6 per beer average and our meal was somewhere around $12-15. The food was absolutelyincredible, bar tenders, security, and all staff in general was all super accommodating and welcoming. The establishment isseparated into two bars, a front and back, but the wall can be lifted to expand for capacity crowds. Outside patio is spacious,and gives you a fantastic view of the river and skyline. After about 10p, it quickly turns into a college night life atmosphereand is insanely crowded - which I enjoyed immensely. If you're into partying, want great drinks, and great food and are lookingto truly have a good time this is top of my recommendations for Pittsburgh! Came here for a corporate event as McFadden was an affordable option compared to surrounding places. The General Manager was... very responsive during the booking process. Upon our arrival, the semi-private space was ready, the food timely, and the servicegreat. Before leaving they even brought out boxes so we can take the remainder of the food. Overall great experience and I woulddefinitely recommend coming here for private parties. Read more
