Adequate, basic Thai/Vietnamese fare; but certainly nothing Japanese here. I?ve been here a few times, and in this last visit,... a new menu is on offer that no longer has the large horrible sushi selections. (They made a wise decision) Any of Pho is fine, very basic mild-flavored noodle soups. The Thai stir fries are promisingly good, just make to ask not-to-add extra sugar in thecooking and/or remove any pineapple chunks (looks like from a can) that would make the dish very sweet. That said, the freshginger with crispy duck is noteworthy. The two appetizers recommended are fresh summer rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls. Read more

food tasted good. I ordered a bowl of pho, found hair in there. Ordered flan cake, found staple in there. Served us a dirty... spoon, still had some lemony smell left on it but the server said it's not. Please look at the picture and tell me it's notdirty Read more

Get the Pho!!! Rare beef Pho is my go to always for take out, I have never sat down here. I?ve tried their normal beef Pho (too... tough for my liking) and their sushi (small and average at best). I may have also got their shrimp pho before, nothing great.Rare Beef is the way to go. The both is hot and clean, the hot broth cooks the rare beef. Only 3 stars because it?s not fair togive it more based on one dish. I?ve ordered this 10-15 times and I can think of 1 time where the meat may have beenquestionable?in the coloration/freshness..I still ate it and had no problems. Another Pho spot I hit up only had meatballbecause they hadn?t figured out how to keep the rare beef fresh without wasting too much. That is why McKnight Kitchen IMO hasthe best Pho in the North Hills. Read more

The food here is pretty good, but not great. It's hit or miss. I tried the pad see ew with tofu, Thai spring rolls, and mango... sticky rice. They prepared the food quite quickly. My pad see ew was average, but not bad. The portion is more thansatisfactory for the price. I love that you can actually taste the egg in this (although this may not be great for everyone). There's a fine amount of vegetables and the tofu was well cooked. I think there could be a bit more sauce, though. And, theywent a little heavy on the oil (the noodles on the bottom were definitely too oily). 4/5 for pad see ew with tofu. Spring rollswere once again fairly standard. They were crispy and decently sized (fair price for portion of 4). The stuffing was flavorfuland the outer shell was crispy. However, the sauce was a bit strange for me. Usually, it's sweet and thick or sweet with somechilies. Here, it is vibrantly orange and has a fruity taste (it is runny as well), which I'm not a fan of. 3/5 for the springrolls. I was relatively disappointed with the mango sticky rice. I think it would have been a lot better if I dined in, butthey don't offer dine in now. The mango didn't seem fresh and didn't have much flavor to it. Didn't seem ripe as it wasn't sweetand was turning brown as well. I liked the consistency of the sticky rice. But, the milky topping was also not that sweet andmore sour. Finally, it is more expensive here when compared to the sticky rice desserts of other restaurants ($2-4 extra here).2.5/5 for mango sticky rice. Overall, I believe there are better options in the area for similar food. The pad see ew waspretty good, but everything else was either just okay or subpar. Read more

Ordered on a Saturday and it was great. Ordered two days later and was very disappointing. On Saturday the orange chicken was... thick and juicy chicken with a delicious crispy outside. Today I'm pretty sure they fried some thin chicken scraps. It was hardto cut and chew. Shocking how different it was from two days ago. The Hawaiin noodles had so much seasoning my mouth feltpowdery and there wasn't much good flavor to it. On Saturday it was amazing. Today there was hardly any chicken in it. I feellike I got warmed leftovers that they over seasoned, or like I ordered from a completely different place. It's too bad bc Ireally wanted to make this a regular place to order from after the first experience. We threw the food away it was so bad.Spring rolls, chicken satay, and shrimp tempura were good.
