First, the server we had was nice. It was $128 for: Filet and shrimp - it was sirloin cubed up (or literally bottom barrel... filet) and the shrimp were the size of my thumb. The veggies would fit in a coffee cup and it might've been a cup or so ofrice. The Spider Rolls were mediocre and came out tepid. Spicy California was bland. Steamed gyoza was definitely cheap frozenby the taste. Drinks were good but $8 for a shot of tequila ???? PAPER NAPKINS. Bruh you can't even have linen?? For$128??? And please don't tell me it's inflation because I got THE SAME tequila later for $5 two blocks away. For $128 Icould've gotten two entrees and a side with water at a VERY nice restaurant with fish that was in the water less than 24 hoursago so suffice it to say I won't be going back. And just to add this, even if it was $75, I'd still be upset at the completelack of quality and taste. Just don't go. Read more
Food is fantastic and service is impeccable. We come here at least 2 or 3 times a year. Just recently though, they increased... pricing substantially, and now charge for the soup and salad with the hibachi meal. Also, the sake no longer comes in a normalcarafe... its a mini-carafe. Disappointed that pricing went up and not as much is included anymore. But my family still had agreat time- just won't visit here as much as we previously had. Read more
People who work there were cool, went around lunch time. Had sushi Crunchy Philly Roll and Ahi Tuna. I have not been here in... years, bit from my memory the food did not taste as good as I remember. I can't say it was bad, but for the price the food wasnot up to par to me. Read more
I'm here atleast 3 times a week for sushi I love it the chefs are amazing and they cook with love. The staff are respectful and... cheerful they give off great energy once you walk in. I love the music they have and the atmosphere. Will be back of course thesushi is amazing Read more
The filet and Scallops were good. Very good fried rice. Sushi was decent. A bit pricey. Excellent service and table side chef.
So disappointed. We got takeout. I ordered the vegetable hibachi. You can see the photo. It’s a salad plate of veggies. Tasty.... But $20? I said there was an egg allergy - so no fried rice. Instead - I get no rice. At all. Definitely not worth the money.Typical yummy hibachi taste. But it’s like they have me the side portion of veggies that would have come with a meat entree.And no rice. Sell me a side of veggies. Don’t charge me a full meal price for this. Read more
I've been coming to Nakama since the day it opened. I love it. Usually just sit at the bar, but I've had a lot of fun in their... dining area watching the extremely talented and fun hibachi chefs do their magic. The food is fantastic and the drinks arealways fun and tasty. They recently remodled too, about 2 years ago. Read more
