About the Place : The ambience of this place is amazing. They have indoors and outdoor seating. Outdoors in summer is the best... thing ever at this place. Everyone is welcoming at this restaurant. About the Food: We went there in a group of four One thingI always like to start at this restaurant is with a green thai ice tea. The flavor of this tea is different. Next, we ordered aspicy chicken basil fried rice felt like they have reduced the quantity of the food and increased the price to catch up covideffects. Also ordered green thai curry came with a lot of parsley in both the dishes. Overall we were satisfied with the foodthat was served. Rating : Been going there again and again and will keep going there. Read more

The restaurant is located at north hill part of Pittsburgh. The ambiance is really wonderful with statues and other sculptures.... They have both indoor and outdoor sitting options. We choose to sit outside. The food and services both are really good. Priceis ok, neither too expensive nor cheap. They do have different spice levels 1 to 5 but for my dish with 3 spice level it was alittle to sweet to my taste. That is the only reason why I am rating the food to have 4 stars. Read more

Ambience: 9/10 Both the seating areas - outdoors and indoors is true to culture. Enjoyed the ?zen? experience. Well maintained... with lots and lots of green in the outdoors. Felt like we are sitting in between a majestic forest with waterfall andancient-looking statues. The silverware was quite unique too. Quite relaxing and enriching simultaneously! Manager: N/A Nointeraction with Manager Service: 10/10 From the reception lady to the servers, everyone was super polite and friendly, andvery well mannered and treated us well. A friend had a daughter who was around 2, and she had the best time playing and chattingand fist-bumping the server. We sat outdoors with the Happy Hour drinks, and eventually moved inside for food as it was startingto get chilly weather. They were very accommodating and helped us get readjusted. They were very prompt with getting the ordersas well. Double thumbs-up ???????? Food: 9/10 Food was lip-smacking. I asked for a 4.5/5 spicy, and it was really delicious. Myfriends went for 2/5 spicy and they enjoyed theirs as much. The quantity and taste was spot on. We ate too much, and have nocomplaints :) Tummy full and mind happy ???? Price: 7/10 Prices were decent. We spent around $50 per head. The prices havedefinitely gone way up since my last visit, but that?s the story everywhere - no surprise there. The appetisers were pricedhigh, with less quantity. I am glad we had ?over-ordered? initially. Read more

We have been to the Western Ave and Penn Ave locations and tried tjis dor lunch yoday in the North Hills. The ambience, service... and food taste is great, same as all their other locations. We love Thai food and to have this gem in our neck of the woods iswonderful. We sat in the garden and were transported to an exotic place. The hostess and server were feiendly and efficient. Wehad a prty of 3 and they catered for a gluten allergy and also a vegan with ease. You jave to tey this place for authentic Thaiatmosphere and food. Read more

I am glad to have made my way back to Nicky?s for this business trip. Great food as I remembered from their downtown Pittsburgh... location. We orders deep fried shrimp appetizer which was wonderfully fresh & delicious. We also had two curry entrees.. theseafood yellow curry was nutty but a little too sweet for my taste, the green curry beef was very tasty. Their level 4 out of 5spiciness was not as hot as we expect. But the taste complexity was spot on. Don?t forget to ask for coconut rice, they are musthave when you go for Thai curry. Read more

We always enjoy the food from this restaurant but this particular one in Mt. Nebo has great ambience, nice decor and delicious... options on the menu. Must visit! We love this for one more reason that is because, we feel this gives us the "Thai Dabha"experience because of it's outdoor seating and next to the highway :) Read more

The quick version: This place is FABULOUS! If you're debating trying it.... stop. Just do yourself a favor and get in there. We... had a great server and the food was fantastic. The long version: We had Chicken Pad Thai, sample appetizer, fresh spring rolls, and fried ice cream. Our total was just over $70, with tip. It was wayyyyyy too much food for just 2 people. However, we wantedto sample a variety in one visit. The only downside to this place is that it's so far away from us and not something we canfrequent all the time. The Pad Thai is some of the best we've had. But definitely the best on the East Coast. The spring rollswere different than what we were use to but not bad. The crab puffs were divine. The fried toast (whatever it's actually called)was very different but pretty good. The fried spring rolls were delicious. My husband liked the little dumplings on theappetizer platter. The chicken skewers were about the only thing we didn't prefer as they were a tad over done and we just don'tprefer curry, but nothing I'd complain about. The decorations and atmosphere were nice. I also want to reiterate, our serverwas fantastic. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name. They need to give him a pat on the back because he truly hadfantastic customer service, a great personality, and just made you feel welcomed. On a side note, if you are sensitive to loudnoisy places, I wouldn't go when they're super busy or have a party of people in there. When we arrived there was already alarge party of women sitting in the middle of the restaurant. They were EXTREMELY loud the entire time. 2 of us sitting side byside could not hear eachother and you could tell they were irritating other customers. Read more

We made a reservation for 5pm, when the restaurant opened, and it was a good thing we did! By the time we left it was crowded,... and this is a popular spot for good reason. The food is phenomenal. We ordered the appetizer combo, everything was delicious! The drinks look so luxurious with orchids as garnish. And our entrees were amazing, with generous portions. I ended up takinghome enough of my spicy crispy basil duck for a great lunch at work on Monday ???? Nicky's is my fave!! Read more
