Fantastic food. Some of the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had. Crabcakes were excellent. My wife loved her shrimp and... grits too. Great atmosphere. Read more

Usually we stop at the bar for cocktails after dining elsewhere downtown. We decided to give it a shot and made reservations... one Saturday. The gumbo was good. Other than that, we weren't impressed. The menu recently changed and I was disappointed inthe selection and the food was just okay. We'll stick with drinks. Read more

Ask a local police officer what he thought was one of the best restaurants in walking distance. This is where he... suggested. Wife and I shared some fried frog legs and the bisque. The frog legs were great and the sauce that came with themjust added to the flavor. The highlight was the bisque. The flavor was great but did not stand out by itself. But wow didthey pack the meat in it. Most of the time you have to hunt for it. This bisque was full of lobster, shrimp, crabmeat, andcrawfish. They had a live band so was a little loud but not to bad. Great service and food. Recommend if you find your selfclose to the square in Pittsburgh. Read more

Fantastic happy hour. I tried the fried green tomatoes, stuffed mushrooms, and fried alligator. All were superlative. Also had a... margarita pizza, and the flavors were a little muddy but I would try it again. Happy hour was an incredible deal. Read more
