Normally we order by phone for pick up. This time around we were going to dine at a restaurant nearby but they closed early for... lunch. So we walked over to Oishii. The lady taking our order inside was not friendly at all. Prices reasonable as usual. Weordered the Bulgogi Bento and the Chicken Katsu Bento. Food was tasteful and delicious! Read more

This place always scratches the itch I get for a straightforward, unpretentious Japanese-style rice bowl with a mountain of... toppings. The sweetness of the teriyaki just pairs so well with breaded cutlets and veggies. Chef's kiss, no notes. Volume isgreat for the price; only complaints are the tiny indoor dining space and how long it can take when they're slammed... but it'sgood, so why wouldn't they be? Read more

We went to this place after our prolonged waiting at a nearby bubble tea shop. There were a lot of people waiting, so honestly... we were a bit worrying. Fortunately, the food was ready in less then 15 minutes. We were surprised by the efficiency of theservice, and the food was delicious. Huge portions. Though the sauce was a bit too sweet. Read more

If you?re hungry and inclined to some Asian, OB is really OISHII!! All of their dishes are filled with extra goodness and just... so darn satisfying. They really fill it up and I?m always finding 2 meals rather! Ingredients are fresh and with quality. Themeats are tender, and the rice always fluffy (Asian style). Typically 10-15 minutes for the food to get done as they make it neweach time. Best beef bowl ever. Best every bowl actually! Read more

Delicious and fast. We had the Bulgogi, Unagi, and Beef bowls, w/ tempura and shumai. The quality contends with the best... anywhere. Establishment was small so the amenities like the restrooms are understandable but not a dealbreaker at all. Woulddefinitely recommend if you're looking for a quick and affordable Japanese/Korean fix. Read more

My first time here! Got a bulgogi bowl with a side of kimchi. As a Korean, I'm super impressed. Authentic, delicious, and... affordable food in generous portions. I was surprised to see bulgogi cooked made to order. I'll definitely stop by a lot Read more

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Oakland. Friendly staff and delicious eats. I'm a big fan of their rice bowls, but... their sushi is also excellent. A bit higher priced than some of it competition, but worth it in my opinion. Read more
