Good hefeweizen and dunkel biers. The bratwurst was excellent, but, the schnitzel was awful; it should NOT be deep fried in old... oil. The spaetzel was passable and the bier cheese mixed with it just ok. After we were seated, the restaurant was not busy atall, but, it took about 15 minutes before the LONE waitress - oh, management, what were you thinking! - acknowledged ourpresence, even though she was at the table right behind us. Our order took about 20 minutes to get to our table - I'm glad weplaced our food order along with the bier. This place was packed with a mix of regulars and a couple of tour groups when weleft, so I really felt lucky that we weren't in the group of about 8 that was walking in. Read more

Kathy and the banquet team did a fantastic job putting on our wedding reception. They were great to work with throughout the... entire process of planning (including uncontrollable postponements with the pandemic). Kathy was excellent in communicatingwith the chef for our guests that had food allergies, ensuring they had a safe meal. She effectively coordinated with the DJ andme to keep the timeline of the event flowing. The bartenders were fantastic, I never saw a line at the bar, but everyonealways had a drink in their hand! We heard from multiple guests after the event how much they enjoyed the food. The lobster Macand cheese was a huge hit with our friends. Our guests enjoyed Penn?s craft beers and were happy with the variety of beersprovided. Our guests enjoyed the unique atmosphere Penn Brewery offers as well as the views of the city skyline. Great service and a nice selection of beers. The appetizer plate offers a lovely assortment of appetizers for the indecisive... ones like me. I got the Memphis Rub for the wings which is kind of a sweet, dry rub. Would ask for a spicy one instead if Icould do it again. Read more
