We stopped in Peppi?s for a quick bite down on the north side. It did not disappoint. The Cajun fries were perfectly crisp, not... too spicy, and served with a big thing of ranch. I got the Mushroom cheese steak and my fiancé got the Big Wheeler. He lovedit. Bread was fresh with lots of toppings. They have indoor seating and outside seating in a back alley. Awesome sub/sandwich shop with a focus on cheese steaks. Opened in 83. Cheese steaks and fries I have had have all been... excellent. I used to stop in the North Side location frequently back in the 90's. I randomly decided to stop back in thislocation recently and was happy I did! It has been consistently very good! I haven't tried, but salads are also available. Dinein or takeout. Neat traditional Pittsburgh place! I would recommend if you are looking for a good filling meal with a localvibe. This place my is amazing so much meat on a hoagie. Great service, great food. Definitely a must have when visiting Pittsburgh
