Santoro's Pizza is my Family's Go-to pizza house, & it's not just the pizza! Their entire menu is incredible, authentic Italian... food, made with care & artistry that you rarely find anymore! From fresh grown herbs & spices to the fresher than freshingredients, it's definitely our choice of Real Italian food, here in Castle Shannon! The owner is so polite, knowledgeable &always ready to answer any questions, that he has become a family friend as well. They offer many more items than pizza too,that I'm sure that even the pickiest eater in your crew will be able to find something to their taste. I have known Danny the owner for years now. I moved away from Pittsburgh 10 years ago to Knoxville, TN and have since missed his... pizza. The other day I visited, bringing my two friends with me. Ordered for the first time today. The small pizza I ordered was half cheese half sweet sausage. Phenomenal!! Crispy crust and... done perfect. Perfect sauce and perfect pie. Delivered hot and fresh. Glad I found this gem. Sweet sausage is very tasty. Can'twait to try more!!! Read more
Get here ASAP -- just had a pizza with a roasted garlic sauce, pine nuts (?), pancetta, gorgonzola, and other toppings --... totally unique pie and the crust was about as perfect as can be. I also had a meatball calzone and it was top notch, as was thetomato sauce. I can't wait to try this place again. Read more
