The irreverence of the concept alone is worth 6 stars! My co-workers first brought me here maybe 10 years ago for lunch, and I... was somewhere between stuttering and speechless after walking through the front doors. Being back in town for a short visit, iwanted to show off my local knowlwdge to my girlfriend. Just like ten years prior, the staff was friendly and welcoming eventhough they were just a few minutes away from closing. We didn't get any food -- just a quick drink, took a few photos and wenton our way. A great, unique Pittsburgh experience for sure. Read more

More of your traditional sit down restaurant. Really cool concept and beautiful interior. Happy hour specials were the best... price around! And really good beer variety! Standard food options with taste to match it. Read more

Unbelievable spot! We were told to make a trip to see this place and we were not disappointed. The inside of this place was... incredible. The food was amazing. I ordered the Jubilee Hilltop Ranch Meatloaf and the meatloaf melted in your mouth. From theascetics to the food, you can’t go wrong going here. They have a merchandise table inside as well with very reasonable prices.I purchased 4 pint glasses with their logo on there for $20. Definitely if you have time, stop by and enjoy a great meal with aview. Read more

I went for the first time last Saturday during their Oktoberfest. I knew it would be rather busy but we had reservations so we... got right in. I don't drink alcohol but a few of my friends do and they seemed to enjoy their beers. The wait to get your ordertaken and received was rather long but I expected that going in. I got the veggie past and thr 7 onion soup. The soup was bomb!My only complaint was that the soup came out after my meal instead of before and I was never able to get a drink refill. All inall it is a cool place to check out with a unique atmosphere. Read more

Obviously the interior of the restaurant can't be beat. Magnificent old church with pews for booth seats, original lights,... stained glass, ceiling detail. The staff was friendly, our waitress very good. Beer was good as was the food. In house pastrychef for dessert. We had lunch. Everything was good. Read more

As far as breweries go, this is one of the cooler spaces I’ve seen. The converted church bar/restaurant kept most of the... original church architecture, including the stained glass windows, giving this bar a unique, European vibe. The European themecontinues through the food and drinks too. The pierogi appetizer and chewy pretzel were great starters, I highly particularlyrecommend the pierogi.  I was a little disappointed with the mac and cheese, but I did order it with the added chicken and itmight have been better without it because the original already had bacon and bratwurst. They also served our beer at roomtemperature, but that may be consistent with the European theme. Read more

A hole in the wall that is worth exploring. I'm not sure what I was expecting from a church converted into a brew house, but it... is a fun and respectful environment. Beers are on point. Food is above average in general and extremely good for a brew house.I can't imagine the fish fries they have during lent. A fun place to go for a quick drink or a nice dinner. Read more

Such a cool place! Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Pittsburgh area. We were able to make reservations for... Friday at 6 for 2 people which was really convenient. It wasn’t overly busy for being Friday at peak time, and there were lotsof families. I got the flight of 6 5oz pours and I enjoyed all the beers I had. I also would highly recommend the PB&J cocktail- SO good!! We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, veggie pasta, and the Pittsburgh salad and everything was very well made andportions were fair. They seemed maybe a little understaffed but our server, Devin, was great. I’d definitely come back here! Read more
