Was there for New Years, spent $60 for a ticket for subpar food that made me sick after leaving. Was a buffet but was only... allowed up once, small plates so I passed on some items thinking I could return but wasn?t allowed. Ticket said champagne toastwas included, we got a half of a shot glass of champagne. I?d give 0 stars if I could but the only saving grace was our poorsweet waitress who never stopped running, bussing tables, handing out party hats, delivering drinks etc. . Also a table was onthe dance floor for ?band members?. The band sounded horrible, and there was hardly any room to dance. I?m pretty sure the heatwas on as it was 100 degrees in there and we had to go outside multiple times before I passed out... the few other staff memberswe seen appeared drunk. Save your money, health, time, and definitely don?t eat the food!! A poor experience that cost us 180$,super disappointing! Read more
We have been here many times in the past 40 years. We went to hear a band, were asked if we had reservations. We said no and... were told there were no seats at the bar (?what? Since when does that matter at a club?)... so we would have to buy atable. We did and when seated we were not ready to eat or drink yet and so requested a glass of water. Server told unless wespend money we would have to buy a bottle of water. We either had to have food or a drink to get a glass of water, or buy abottle. Plastic DOES alter water flavor so we said we would order later. They insisted manager come over and explain thatthey are here to make money so either buy a drink or food or water. Again, we declined and decided to wait untilthirsty/hungry. Band started, we danced then returned to our table. We were talking about what we wanted to drink when astrange man came to our table and kept sweeping our table back and forth with his eyes and challenged us by asking "didn't aserver come over?" We replied she had and he spat out "Then why don't you have drinks?" We answered that we hadn't orderedanything yet. It was very clear he wasn't a stranger, but a worker/owner/manager and was angry that we hadn't spent any moneyyet. We have NEVER been more insulted by money grubbing business. We typically spend a significant amount of $ every weekendat clubs, but when "forced" like that...we vote with our money. We put on our jackets and left without a word. A better wayto recover from the shutdowns is to be kind to customers. Or at least be honest and advise everyone there is a "minimum spendrequirement" to gain entrance to the establishment. WE WILL NEVER GIVE MONEY TO THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. It was so upsetting thatwe had to stop at another local place and drop some $$$ with much nicer establishment owners who treated us graciously. My wife and myself have been here many times and LOVE it, once with a group, no complaints. Stopped in a few times after taking... photos for a drink. Of course you have to wait a tiny bit when they are busy, what do you expect. I believe their is a $10 covercharge only when there is a band. This whole place is incredible including the atmosphere, my parents even danced here in the40's ! The owner & staff are friendly & accommodating. How many places have dancing (DJ & band), dining & drinking today !! Giveit a try - you won't regret it. Read more
