Amazing Japanese street food inspired menu, the yakitori and sushi were incredible. The drinks during happy hour has a nice... discount and the service was quick and friendly. My husband and I came in without reservations and we sat at the bar. One of the servers let us move to an open table not to long... after which was very nice. The server we had was very helpful with the menu. I was really excited to try uni and it was so worthit. It is a bit pricey but the quality is worth it. The drinks are well worth the price too. A very nice Japanese Izakaya, with a regular bar and a sushi bar, located on the third floor. I ordered an unagi hand roll, a... wagyu skewer, chicken skin skewer, and a whole grilled squid. Everything was good and delicious. Wagyu was a must have, can'tgo wrong. Service was also great. The only issue was that the restaurant was so humid and hot today, and the AC really didn'tfeel like it was working. Read more
I got the Shio Ramen and the takoyaki. The takoyaki was over cooked and the outside was hard. The inside was okay but was not... great eating. The ramen. They served bone in ribs on ramen which makes eating the streaming hot meat very hard. When I wasfinally able to hold and eat the meat it was super over cooked and super dry. The ramen and broth was okay quality but nothingspecial. I wouldn't recommend this place for the food. Enjoy the drinks and the music. Read more
Best ramen bar in Pittsburgh! The experience as a whole makes you forget you are in Pittsburgh. UPDATE: Unfortunately this place has gone down hill. We used to go multiple times a month but not anymore. Since january it has... gone downhill. Food is not as good as it used to be and the quality of sushi has definitely gone downhill. Service is still okbut the fact that they kick you out once you've reached your time limit is not ok. When you sit down to eat and spend hundredsof dollars at an establishment, you don't expect them to kick you out. That's bad business. This place was amazing. Out of any Japanese style restaurant in greater Pittsburgh area, this was the place to be. The food... was fantastic, the atmosphere was lovely and I was not disappointed. The only thing that could make this restaurant better ifPittsburgh was a city near ocean. That said the freshness of their seafood was much better then we could expect. Read more
