Perfect example of a bad Pittsburgh cheesesteak. Greasy unseasoned meat, flavorless provolone cheese that doesn?t fully melt, a... bun that immediately becomes completely engulfed in grease and falls apart half way through eating. They only offer provoloneso you?re stuck with no choice but to share the owners terrible taste palate. Cheap barely fried enough frozen shoestringfries. My girlfriend got a veggie combo too and it had no flavor and barely any cheese. The clerk was also pretty rude andseemed annoyed to take our order. People eat here to support local I guess but truthfully you would be better off going to aJersey Mikes. Read more

"UNCLE SAM'S SANDWICH BAR" is a Great Tasty & Delicious Destination. Uncle Sam's Menu board & many choices are Vast & really... hard to choose from, That's bc of the Delectable item's available. If You're ever in the Fox Chapel area, Stop in at theWaterworks Shopping Center, on the Giant Eagle side & check out Uncle Sam's location. Brings the taste buds back to over 30 years ago. Same taste and unique sub. I can now leave the city more than satisfied and... will hunger for my next one daily!! BTW, had the Italian special. Best one on the menu. Read more
One of the BEST steak subs ever! Highly recommend Uncle Sam's. Can't wait to try the vegetarian subs. Love the decor too.
Best sandwiches around. All these comments about staff touching their masks and cash, get a life and cook at home. You try... wearing something that constricts your breathing while working. I?m not thrilled about it being cash only but there are atmseverywhere so quit whining. My only complaint are about some of the miserable employees. There?s always at least one and don?tcome 30mins before closing time, they?ll be very annoyed or pretend they?re closed. But the food is why I come here and it?salways consistently great!! Ordered an Ultra Philly cheese steak with extra meat with no fried onions and only wanted the meat and cheese. Get home it's... packed with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and raw onions. Just spent $20 for some cheese fries Read more
