The food and service were very good and I will definitely return when I have the chance. I don't live close, but have relatives... that do. This is someplace I'll go when in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip for if that makes sense. Read more

Went for Happy Hour (or so I thought) on 8/26. Find out that times and prices had changed and they didn't update the website... (an update- hours changed now on main page but not on menu and old prices are still being displayed). Ordered beer- and it wasbarely above room temperature. Bar tender offered another beer but then said all felt the same. Later found out that thegeneral manager who was there, knew that the beer was warm and was still selling it! Many at bar were complaining about it. Also never bothered coming over even after we complained about the warm beer. Lastly, got bill and was charged regular pricesfor happy hour app....pointed out to bartender and asked to fix before swiping card, only to find out that he yet againovercharged me once charging to my credit card. Tried to write a comment via their website, but it's now been almost 1.5 weekswith no reply- so now posting publicly. Read more

The service was terrible. Only about 10 tables filled and 2 or 3 servers and we still waited almost a hour to get a cocktail.... They were sitting on the bar for so long that most of the ice was melted and one was not as described at all. We ordered 5appetizers, 3 came to the table after a lengthy wait. We asked about the other one ordered by my friend and did come about 10minutes later. The other appetizer we ordered never came and we didn’t bother to ask. At this point we had been there forabout 2 hours and were ready to leave. The food was fair at best, the music was loud and unpleasant and as I mentioned theservice was absolutely terrible. I have been to two other WGs and had no complaints but this one I struggled to give it onestar. Read more

The food is mediocre-pedestrian-forgettable. Our server was very nice but she had to take care of way too many tables. The... kitchen was slow. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. The mussels were tough and dry and over cooked. We sent them back. The Korean BBQ salmon bowl was...meh. I got a coupon in my e-mail and tried to use it but I did not read the fine print: It wasnot valid at the Waterworks location. That one is on me but why send me a coupon that I cannot use??? Overall disappointing onevery level. There are many other places out there that are far better. Read more

Had a great dinner with my two sibs on the patio Saturday night around 6:30. My baked cod with crab was remarkable, both for the... quality of the fish and seafood, and the generous serving of my favorite crab! Walnut Grille was busy as usual, but all thewaitstaff were helpful and efficient and the pace was fine. Much better than previous visits last year; all 3 of us reallyenjoyed the meal and ambiance. The food and drink are always delicious and I feel are worth the price. I’ve always had fantastic service, and my boyfriend... and I have had multiple stellar dates there. I’ve also been there for family hosted events such as wedding and baby showers, and they were phenomenal. Highly recommend. Read more

The food was significantly better the second time I tried the Walnut Grill! The manager was very generous in ensuring the issues... I experienced on my last visit were resolved. Today, I ordered the loaded tater tots as well as the spinach and artichoke dip(both appetizers). The portions are excellent for both of them. One order could easily feed 2 people, if not more. Be awarethat the prices are somewhat high, but the portions make up for it. There was virtually no wait for takeout, too. Flavor-wise,I really enjoyed the loaded tater tots. The sauce is creamy and cheesy, but not overwhelming. There is plenty of bacon, which isboth smokey and sweet. Some pieces were fatty, while others were more crispy. The potatoes were crispy and well cooked. Quite agood spinach dip as well. There is only shredded cheese at the top, though. Spinach is well cooked and the dip is creamy. Theartichokes are little hard, though, and the bottom is a bit oily. They give you loads of chips for takeout (a whole separatelarge container)! The chips paired well with the dip. Overall, I'd definitely return to try out some more appetizers, desserts, and maybe the tacos. The tater tots and dip (as well as the staff's generosity) definitely changed my perception of Walnut Grillfor the better! Read more

There are a few things why I am only giving 2 stars. One star for a quick sit down and the appetizers were quick to come out. We... had pretzel bites and spinach and artichoke dip. Which they were great. Now for the bad. We got to the restaurant at 2:45pm andgot seated right away. We did not get our food until 4:21pm. And all of the food did. It come out. We had to wait another 10mins to get a steak because they had to recook it. When my meal came out I got a burger and baked potato. It's not a goodpicture but the potato had cheese on it which looked like it had been sitting awhile. Did not look like a freshly baked potato. My burger was burnt and all I could taste was burnt burger. 3 of us got a steak and all 3 were burnt and over cooked. We had tokeep asking for refills and those took 10 or more minutes to get. The restaurant did not look like it had alot of patrons. Sonot sure why it took so long for the food. Our waitress dropped a drink and it sat on the floor at least 10 minutes. Many otherwaiters and waitresses stepped over it without cleaning it up. Luckily no other patrons walked by or they would of fell from thedrink and broken glass. We were very disappointed from this place. Read more
