I?m so glad I found this spot, everyone is so nice and every thing I?ve ordered has been delicious so far. The chicken parm is... a large portion and not overloaded with sauce, just the way I like it and with plenty of spaghetti. I?ve also ordered the Pastalemone and chicken rice soup mmm. Fruit and Salad Co. was my choice for meeting for dinner with my sister in law who works at Strong Memorial Hospital and for us... coming up from Seneca Falls. It took us about 46 minutes on the threat to 490 and getting off at Bushnell Basin it is veryconvenient to get to. We met on a Monday evening at 5:30 and were seated right away at a comfy table. Our server Conner was neatand courteous and spot on throughout the meal. There is a small wine and beer list if you want to imbibe, many choices of softdrinks or carafe of fresh ice water placed on the table to share, along with a generous basket of fresh bread and butter. Themenu was well beyond just salads and fruit including potroast, pastas and so much more. We chose the following salads: Monteraywhich had chicken, bacon, tomato, feta cheese, and avocado on a bed of greens with vinaigrette dressing. I chose to add egg tomine. Chris had the Asian salad featuring chicken and oranges, bean sprouts and other Asian veggies with delivered almonds ongreens with ginger dressing. Michelle chose the spinach salad which she opted no mushrooms or tomatoes on, but enjoyed withfresh baby spinach, red onions, oranges and egg and she had the dressing on the side. We rediscovered Fruit & Salad after the long COVID freeze. In all honesty we trimmed quite a bit of dining out altogether so it... was nice to drop in again and feel like we reconnected with an old friend. That personal touch that they provide from themoment that you arrive till you leave is much appreciated. We've been back twice over that past 2 weeks and totally enjoyedsalads, entrees and dessert. Staff is awesome and a very invested management covers for staff when it gets busy. It's nice tosee a small hometown business get the traffic they deserve. Highly recommended for lunch and casual dinners in a relaxed andfriendly atmosphere. Keep up the great work! Read more
