Enjoyed a few cold beers overlooking the eerie canal! Had a great time but did not appreciate the fact that the flight... experience and presentation was different for indoor vs outdoor seating. We sat outside since it was packed inside and hence gotplastic glasses in a bronze tray as opposed to proper glasses in a much more presentable flight tray. Walked through Schoen Place with a group of friends this past Saturday afternoon. I had not been in here since before the Covid... shutdown. Loved the remodel they did to the place. Much more open and roomy. Nice variety of beer, great attentive staff. Theyeven give you option of a plastic cup to hang outside. Definitely stop in and taste their selection of beer. My kind of place. A beer for everyone. All walks of people here and great conversations. The canal is a great view with the... boats and canoes. Oh the beer, great tastes, fun names, the wife's loves the flavors. This has been a great stop. Highlyrecommend. Read more
Lock 32 does not have my favorite beer in the area. Lock 32 does have a great location and friendly service though. It is a... wonderful thing to enjoy sitting with your beer and looking out on the canal. Even if the beer isn't stellar, getting a flightwith friends is always a great experience. Read more

Enjoyed this brewery on the Erie canal. The taproom has a great spot on the canal with a nice view. The design of the taproom is... nice with a boat room theme with lots of wood. The beer list is a good size and the beer was very good. Something for everyoneincluding cider and wine. There is no food which is a disadvantage with the exception of popcorn. Definitely a great place tohang out on the weekend or for an afternoon. Parking can be found nearby across the street. Read more
AMAZING BEERS. I had the Flower City, Scotch Ale, Five 80 Five, Mule Fuel, 1911 original (dry apple cider) and there newly... tapped Porter called twist which tasted amazing (vanilla and chocolate). As for the ambiance it can definitely use some work,but nothing that would stop me from coming back here to grab another Twist once it is actually tapped and served publicly. Read more
