The food was very good, but they put too much glaze on on top of the food when you get the hibachi. I got the filet and shrimp,... the steak was tough. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Read more
Only ordered to go, but honestly cannot believe how horrible the pineapple fried rice I received was. I had to have 2... co-workers try it just to verify it wasn't just me. It was so mushy and flavorless. If I didn't know what it was or where itcame from I would have thought it was a horrible example of Spanish rice with chicken and pineapple in it. This place is great! It is definitively one of my favorite places around to have delicious sashimi and sushi, but if you don't... like the raw fish they offer hibachi style meals also. Everything is very well portioned and the atmosphere is great as well asthe drinks. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar to see some off the menu creations made by very skilled sushi chefs. Read more
Still Excellent! Great local sushi place. Food was great and service was too. Connie our waitress was really friendly and... welcoming. Drinks, salads, and sushi all came out in quickly and were delicious. Will definitely be back! Also loved the giantlucky cat on the bar, never saw one like it before. Read more
The place was clean, the service not so slow. We ordered Godzilla, lady love and the one with mango on top! They were big so I... kept half of them for later, I ate them 5 hours later and they tasted as good as new. We had Shumai and Gyoza also. We were twoand the proce hit 62 dollar...a little bit high but somehow worth trying once every several months????So expensive for weekendsbut good for special occasions. Read more
I’ve been going to this place for years and never had an issue. My friend comes from Scranton and I told her how good of a... place Fuji was and how she needs to try it. We go and order some wine to start and I see they have a “sushi bar” menu thatincluded filet minion , I am thinking it’s the roll with filet minion. They come with a plate of just plain filet minion. Itold them I didn’t want it because it was not what I was expecting to have and really was craving sushi so I thought that waswhat I ordered. So the waitress takes it back and the “owner” (or manager) comes up and says that, that was what I ordered Iexplained the same thing I told the waitress and she repeated herself so I asked her “so now I have to eat something that Idon’t want?” She didn’t answer my question and it’s like she wanted to go back and fourth with me on how that was thefood I ordered…so I asked again “do I have to eat the food I don’t want?” Obviously she noticed how upset I was gettingand decided to accommodate by saying they can convert it into a sushi but it’ll be more which I said that’s fine….then myfriend ordered noodles with her hibachi but got rice instead. I thought it would be an easy fix, little did we know she gavepush back to the waitress and charged her partial amount just because she made a mistake. (Not how you treat your employees - nowonder people quit there). It made the whole experience tonight seem like they were all about the money and NOT a great customerservice experience….and it clearly showed tonight. Very disappointed!!! They need to be more detailed in their menus aswell. How am I supposed to know what filet minion tataki is when they list it under the sushi bar menu..as if it were sushi (Ishouldn’t have to google that either that’s what menus are for). Read more
