Saw the guy who's making the food go back and forth to the cashier and grill without changing his gloves whatsoever. He was... handling cash, working the POS system and then going back and touching the meat and bread. Very unsanitary , had to throw myfood out. Read more

Philly's in Placentia makes the rest of the Philly's Best branches look terrible. The owner here always greets you with the... warmest smile. I take pride in our local Philly's and hope that it stays for as long as it can be in our community. The nearestalternative for a specialized philly steak sandwich is probably at the Brea mall (Charlie's). I prefer Placentia's Philly'sBest. Read more

I've eaten at several Philly's and had good experiences and food at them. This one in Placentia is mediocre at best. Got takeout... Philly cheesesteak with grilled onion and mushrooms with chease and onion rings. Got home and pulled out onion rings, all 5. 5onion rings for $4.99, $1 each. Normal size, not like Farmer Boys. Definitely not worth it. The sandwich was small in size ascompared to other sandwich shops. Meat didn't have good flavor or perhaps not much flavor at all. I did find a couple of smallmushrooms but not enough to taste. That sandwich was $10.99. Not pleased with cleanliness either. Order taker was handling moneyand putting hand in the bag without washing or wearing gloves. She was behind the food prep area putting my meal in a bag andhanded it to me without gloves on just prior to handling money. That place ruined it for me. I spent over $40 buying sandwiches for my family and they put hardly any cheese whatsoever on them. So they were extremely dry.... I couldn't even taste any cheese.
