There was a confusing about the hours of operations on Sunday which are 11-6pm. I reached out to Sourdough & Co via Facebook... messenger and received a responds promptly and the next day I even received a personal call from the manager apologizing aboutthe confusion and going above and beyond to make the situation right. These are the most dishonest staff I have ever seen in a restaurant. We ordered a sandwich and added soup and drink as a meal.... We politely said we did not need the fountain drink, and the staff removed the meal and charged the most expensive size of soup,making it even more expensive than a meal. At the end, we only received a cup sized clam chowder, not the bowl size. Thesedishonest people overcharge customers on tiny details. If you don't catch on that, you will be cheated. Nicole and Ryan were so helpful and made some amazing sandwiches! We ha the brisket, roast beef, pastrami, and pesto chicken.... All were fresh, with fresh bread and just absolutely great sandwiches, good price too. Read more
Went to Placerville for my birthday. Stopped by and picked up a loaf of bread to take home and bake. I should have taken it out... of the paper bad and looked at it. I assumed they were fresh. Got home, bread was molded. GROSS! I live over an hour away. Notbringing back, but also will not visit that place again!!!!! Read more
Employees are almost never very nice or welcoming. You could be the kindest person in line they will still be unpleasant to you.... I rarely order for myself or accept doordash orders at this store anymore because The staff is just unpleasant. There’s oneemployee in particular I’d like to bring up to the owner, I don’t want to describe her publicly. She’s rude to guests andother employees, possibly a Lead or manager? The food was good and the ladies behind the counter were very kind and helpful. We sat inside because it was crazy hot outside... but this location is prime for enjoying downtown Placerville as you sit outside facing the bell tower. They have live music aswell when the weather permits, I have not been disappointed. Read more
I ordered online to pick up for convenience to the Main Street sourdough; the fact that the sandwiches were already on the... “pickup” stand when I got there in such a fast amount of time, i was happy about! But both sandwiches didn’t have anyproduce on them, nothing. One sandwich we had picked we chose 2/3 products the others had 3/3, online when we reviewed andsubmitted our order. So all sandos had just meat and some spread on it when we opened up the rapping. Most of the sandwichwasn’t correct, I’ve never had this happy before at any Sourdoughs, I was just bummed being the first time I’d gone tothis one on Main Street. Id rather wait a little longer for my sandwich to be made correctly than them feeling rushed and notmaking them the correct way. Read more
