Today's work location! It was laundry day so we headed into Placerville to hit up the laundromat. Yelp is our go-to for finding... new (to us), well-rated places, especially since Art is an Elite Yelper. Searching for coffee and tea, The Corner Spot shows upright across the street! A quick look at the menu confirmed that it would be the perfect place for us. It is a healthy caféserving shakes, teas & other nutritious treats. We also got to meet the most awesome people! Owners Jami and Abraham weremanning the store. We felt warmly welcomed upon arrival, and as the wide variety of options were explained. Everything we triedtasted so decadent, it felt like such an indulgence! They are so in-tune with their customers that if they see you grooving tothe music playing, they adjust the playlist to keep you moving. So my fiancé and I tried this place out yesterday after our gym session. A couple days prior they had followed me on Instagram... & after seeing what they were all about I knew we had to go try them out. First off, the inside is so cute! Love all of thedecor, it felt very inviting - I can definitely see myself hanging out there in the future. And they have the cutest photo wall!Secondly, the owners were great! Super nice people, both greeted us right as we walked in the door. Went over all of thedifferent drink options etc. Last but not least the drinks were bomb! We both got one of the post workout shakes, I gotchocolate PB and my fiancé went with the strawberry. Sooo good and my fiancé did mention the fact that they weren't supersugary/sweet - he appreciated that. Long story short, 10/10 recommend checking them out whether you live local or are justlooking to try out some place new. I know we will definitely be back! Support your local small businesses! ???? Just went here for the first time and I will definitely be coming back. So excited to have a fast, refreshing, HEALTHY, option... for a snack or meal. They have kids and adult options, with tons of protein, and low sugar. And kudos to the kind woman servingme: when she saw my family was wearing masks, she graciously offered to put hers on. I appreciate that she took the effort tomake me feel comfortable. Everyone should try this place! Read more
