First we want to thank the staff that welcomed us for dinner even though it was a half hour before they were due to close. I had... the Mushroom Spinach Lasagna in a Vodka Sauce that was absolutely delicious! It was served topped with micro greens and freshgrated Parmasan. My husband had the breaded chicken sandwich which was also outstanding. They also have a really niceselection of local wines, very tasty. At no time did we feel like we were hurried through our dinner. In fact our waiter, whoprovided wonderful service , encouraged us to relax and enjoy our dinner. We spent a week in Placerville exploring manyrestaurants and The Farm Table Restaurant was by far our best experience. Read more

We drove an hour expecting to be served fresh, good food going by false reviews. I ordered lamb which did not have the flavors... it said it did, and I ordered medium well and got rare. My daughters chicken was over cooked and her waffles were cold. Theysaid they only had downstairs seating but we saw a table for two upstairs the whole time during our visit. Read more

I had two meals at the Farm Table. Both were delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance is welcoming,... and I enjoyed both of my meals. I will go back when I'm in Placerville. Good times. Read more

Awesome fresh and flavorful lunch. We enjoyed the garden salad with ham and cheese panini and the house made sausage sandwich... with potato salad. This restaurant exemplifies the meaning of farm to fork dining. We also bought some Italian sausage from thefreezer section, to go, which is fresh made every Tuesday. The fresh baked cookies are also delicious. We sat at an upstairswindow table with a view of Main Street. Read more

The atmosphere is farmhouse chic and the staff are all friendly and give good service. The Mushroom Toast was absolutely... delicious! The bread was slightly crusty with soft, perfectly kneaded inside. The mushrooms well prepared and sauteed. The saucewas creamy and seasoned just right. All with some wonderful fontina cheese folded in. OH! SO YUMMMMY!!! Too yummy. We expectedthe rest of our meal to be as excellent and when the rest was just ok it was a big let down. Pear and Avocado Salad: wasn'tseasoned and the nuts were roasted but not candied (the menu said candied nuts) but the goat cheese, on it, was some of the bestwe have ever had. Duck Cassoulet Confit: was all slightly overcooked and the leg was starting to go dry. The dish would havedone well with a bite of bright...like a bit of orange or cranberry or cranberry orange.The baby purple cabbage leaves were myfavorite part of the dish. Macaroni and Cheese: was not seasoned. It was totally bland. The noodles were cooked in water the wasnot seasoned, as well. Plus, some of the noodles had no sauce on them. It was lazy cooking. Pickled Things: was very pleasing.The cauliflower was my favorite pickled thing. Vinegar and spicy with a tingle of mustard and still with somecrunch...lovely. Next time we will make a meal of mushroom toast and pickled cauliflower and get some goat cheese to go. Therest they can keep. Read more

THE BLUEBERRY DREAM (herbal) TEA IS THE BEST TEA EVER!!! The sandwiches were also amazing and the restaurant decorations are so... nice! It is a historic brothel too which is so fun! Great service! Both the owner and the servers are so inviting andhospitable! Great place! They even let us in 4 min before closing on a sunday! Read more

Happy to stumble upon this place in Placerville. The beef carpaccio was perfectly thinly sliced and tasty! Everyone loved the... bread and great selection of cheeses. Friendly staff and simple ambience made a relaxing dining experience. Read more
