Mimosas were delicious and the fried pickles were phenomenal. Came out fresh and crispy along with the hot onion rings that came... with the pickles. The sauce was delicious and tart. The pickles were huge and crunchy with its ???? juices. Delicious???? OMG...HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS RESTAURANT? IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD! I am so happy that I decided to try something new. The punch... drink was so yummy. The gumbo was yummy! Very flavorful. I loved the corn bread with cinnamon butter. It was moist anddelicious. But the jambalaya...WAS OUTSTANDING!!!! It had ham, sausage and chicken all resting on a pile of rice with redsauce. It was a huge portion and enough for two meals. The waitress was great. Very personable and attentive. Outdoorseating was great as there were umbrellas shading the tables. I will definitely go back. Came in to Moe Joe's for drinks and a snack before "great race" car show. Had crayfish appetizer which was delicious!... Horseradish sauce was outstanding. Food was good and full of flavor! This place is definitely one of a kind. Best cajun food you will find in the area! The drink menu is also amazing. Highly... recommend the gumbo and po boys. One thing I will say is service can be a little slow but the servers are always very nice. Justexpect to wait a bit because the food takes awhile to prepare. It was a fantastic dining experience. The food was all delicious from the alligator to the jambalaya. It is a very cool... atmosphere with nice seating. It is in a great location in downtown Plainfield. Parking wasn't too difficult to find. Ourserver, Madelyn, was kind and prompt with the service. She did a wonderful job. Even on a busy Friday night, their staff was very patient and friendly with a first time customer. Ordered fried catfish with... sweet potato fries and fried okra. I only wish I could have enjoyed it there as take-out boxes made food very soggy but tastewas great. Definitely will be back to try in person next time! Read more
We came here around 5 o'clock, and they seated us right away. The menu and beverage options are very rich. The main reason I... came here to taste their alligator tail, so I ordered their Famous Corn Crusted Alligator Tail. It was delicious ???? I can'tbelieve I have finally tried such a dish and I am glad I did, I highly recommend especially if you have never tried Alligatormeat!!! For the entree I ordered Jack and Coke Newyork Strip ( NY strip marinated in Coca-Cola and its souce made out of JackDaniel's, how cool does that sound!! ) So I had to try it and I wasn't disappointed at all. The steak was tender and juicy andthe sauce on top was one of the most unique sauces I have ever tried. My friend had fried Catfish with cheddar mash potato andshe enjoyed her meal as well as I did. For the drink I had a pomegranate margarita; it was good. Sammy, our helper was such asweetheart, she did a great job on the service part.
