Always a great experience. Steve is awesome. Very friendly, hard working, shows he really cares about the product he puts out... and the workers as well. Cheesecake is delicious. Paninis are really really good. I've tried several paninis where I didn'tthink I would like them due to some ingredients that I normally don't like and they were very delicious. Never had anything badand I feel I never will. Very clean inside. Worth checking out. Support a small local business as well. Read more

What a gem in the heart of Plainfield! It?s definitely a drive to get to but worth it if you?re in the area. They serve a... variety of cheesecakes and some regular food as well. The cheesecake is divine. Very creamy, not very sweet and great flavor. Myfavorite so far has been the turtle but the cherry topped one is a close second. The crust isn?t my favorite as it doesn?t seemthey bake the graham cracker crust so it?s very crumbly. Also, the crust doesn?t have much flavor which is sad because thecheesecake is otherwise great. Delicious! Reasonably timed service, the food was delicious. It was $55 for three of us. We shared a small sugar free cheesecake... while we waited for our food. We got half half salads and half lobster Mac and cheeses and they were both good sized portions.We also had the lobster bisque and a half sandwich, also tasty, but the bisque didn?t have as much lobster as expected. It is definitely a very novel idea to have different kinds of cheesecakes in a mason jar that you can eat from directly. Also,... the people working there and the service is really nice. Those are the two reasons that I gave them three stars. Now thereasons for the missing two stars... I went there many years back. I remember that at that time, their focus was mainly on themason jar cheesecake which is their main specialty and claim to fame. When I went this time, I realized it has turned into asandwich shop as well. The mason jars were still there but not as many varieties as I remember and definitely not the focalpoint. They also had cheesecake in regular triangle shape in small plastic containers also. All of that is fine, but the factthat now each of the mason jar cheesecake or even the other cheesecake container is over $7.50 each, did not sit right with me.I still decided to give it a chance and purchased a couple for me and my son to sit there and enjoy. Eating the cheesecake, Irealized it did not taste anything special. My son said the same. It was just "ok". Bottom line: I took off the two stars fortaste not being great and the price being unreasonable IMHO. My humble advice, FWIW, would be for the owner to consider goingback to their focus back in the early days of perfecting the mason jar cheesecakes and offering them at a reasonable price. Read more

First time. Sandwich selection was good and the cheesecake flavors were plentiful. Ordered a sandwich and a wrap, and one... cheesecake jar. After a significant wait for our food, we were provided the wrong order. After another wait, or food was servedwith an apology. The food was average. The wrap was dry and fell apart in my hands, creating a very sloppy experience. Thecheesecake jar was a delicious ending to the meal.
