Uptown is under new management and received some interior updates. Food was delicious, portion sizes were just right, I was able... to do the lunch special and was very pleased with my panini. Service was excellent and attentive. Drinks were reasonably pricedand they have some great mid and top shelf options. I've always liked the place, but it feels more upscale without being tooexpensive. Definitely coming back. Read more
There is something special about Uptown that is hard to put a finger on. The menu is a strange mix of influences and styles. ... That said, never had a bad meal. My only negative is that the drink options are good, but I prefer a few local places fordrinks over Uptown, so I consider it a good place to get dinner before moving elsewhere for the after- party. Finally got a chance to visit this place for lunch and it did not disappoint! Friendly and knowledgeable staff who walked us... through menu options with recommendations. This place is a great spot to sit back and enjoy life. ???? Very relaxed atmosphere with great food and great drinks! You can... choose to sit inside or on the sidewalk outside. Inside is air conditioned. Outside tables all have umbrellas. Bathrooms areclean and well stocked. Prices are typical for a bar and grill location. Location is mid block downtown. The only negative Ihave is that parking downtown can be a problem during peak times--especially on the weekends. Read more
Service and food was really good price was fare. I guess only little complaints was we had a lot of flies bothering us and maybe... a dip sauce could be offered with sweet potatoes fries and onion rings. Very cute place will come again Read more
Went on a Thursday night to see what open jam was about.Nice mix of music. It was a little difficult to understand the singers... at times. Reasonably priced beverages. How small scotto was good. Read more
