I have eat at Cracker Barrel many times. Last time I came it was before the pandemia and this time it was Sunday night after 7,... usually not very busy the hostess told me 40 minutes wait, we wait because we like the food. When our turn came we noticed itwas not full, let say 50-60% dining room full, I understand they might have shortage of employees. The server took the orderand my fish came too spicy, It was too much spice on it. Used to be better, specially not on rush hour. Read more

We, as a whole, have never had a worse meal. 30 min wait to sit is fine, but after waiting an hour after ordering to receive... barely edible food. I'm too scared to return food, but the waitress didn't even care to check in after throwing it on our table.Pictured is the most burnt French toast I've ever seen, my scrambled eggs had a slimy film, my husband's biscuit and gravy andpotato bake were both had a film from sitting and bacon both over and under cooked at same time, a bacon lover found mostlyinedible. Arrived to pickup my carry out dinner. Was told they have had my order in there system for 22 minutes and it was not ready. I... left and came back in 5 minutes and told still not ready. So I waited another 12 minutes then a nice young lady came out fromback and told me they where out of my main course. I asked why I wasn't informed of this 15 minutes ago, and she didn't have aanswer. I ask the nice young lady to please pick something else that they could make fast. She left and came back with mycomplete order. Pretty sure I will not be returning. But the person who helped me finally get my food after 10pm, thank you forhelping. Read more

I hadn't been to Cracker Barrel in years. No particular reason. Stopped in the other day for a late breakfast and it was... phenomenal! I ordered the French toast with bacon and scrambled eggs. Their portions and pricing are both more than fair. Thewaitress was awesome and the food was quickly made. I visited the next day and tried their stuffed pancakes. Those did notdisappoint either! Horrible! Such a disappointment! Such a cute idea with horrible food that is COLD. Eggs SO cold they are stuck on plate, grits... with butter a cold lump, casserole a glob, meat like jerky. I had a wonderful experience at this Cracker Barrel. They had an interesting selection of items in their store and the staff... were friendly. The hostess that served us, Siera, did a phenomenal job. My only complaint would be that the food was slightlyover cooked and thus a tad bit dry. My travel companion ordered the grilled chicken and it came out looking a bit charred. Heckeven the biscuits looked slightly over cooked. But despite being a tad dry, it was all still edible and well seasoned. Read more
