We asked to sit at the patio, it was a nice night and we got there around 7:30 pm. Not too busy! We ordered the Biscuits and... Gravy with Scrambled Eggs and the Indianapolis - Country Fried Breakfast (Fried tenderloin or chicken breast covered withsausage gravy. Served with two eggs, home fries and a side of toast). Both foods were super good, the Tenderloin was massiveand super crispy. The gravy was slopped on there and the pairing of eggs, potatoes and tenderloin was superb. Read more

I love this place. The diner experience with great food and friendly staff. Awesome desserts too! They have some of the biggest... cinnamon roles I?ve seen. This morning I had the Quaker breakfast with mush. Delicious! Read more

Great small diner with very friendly staff. Food is really good. Handmade sodas and shakes. Butterscotch root beer, beignets,... and philly were all great! Check out the Plainfield pedestrian bridge and blue Buffalo next door. Read more

Very unique old fashion diner. It is original inside and out. They still use the old shake sundae containers and the metal for... malts. The food was fantastic. We had the crispy chicken sandwich , onion rings, tater tots, lemonade ( homemade ) yum and Oreomilk shake. Read more

Cute diner inside and out. Retro decor: vinyl albums, 8 track and cassette tapes, vintage metal lunch boxes and old license... plates line the walls. A mounted wall TV was playing Brady Bunch shows the entire time. It was Mother's Day and many customerswere dining out so it was quite crowded. Limited space between some of the inside tables made it difficult for waitresses andcustomers to navigate easily. (Possibly a different configuration of the tables to the right of the door might help a bit.)Fairly extensive menu: I chose the catfish house favorite. (Sorry no photo). The fish was a generous portion and tasty, howeverpersonally I would have preferred less breading. I liked the shoe string style french fries and my husband said the coleslaw wastasty. Outdoor seating is available and the establishment is well maintained. Read more

Great place holding much nostalgia for roadside diners of decades past. Updated menu that has many contemporary dishes, as well... as old favorites like the biscuits and gravy I had. My wife had her favorite corned beef hash (she rated it 10 out of 5). Probably will become our regular spot, even though it's a bit of a drive it's worth it. Best sausage gravy around, and theydidn't bat an eye at my order of poached eggs which came out perfect. Plainfielders are lucky to have this gem. Read more

Such a cute diner! The food was VERY tasty. I tried the catfish (my first time ever trying catfish) and it was incredible! ? A... crunchy outside and soft melty inside. In addition, the prices were cheap for the amount of food you got! I would definitelycome here again. A night out with friends to remember ???????? Read more

This looks like such a cool little diner that we decided to stop and check it out. The interior is vintage and clean, our... server was great. The food was absolutely terrible. We ordered the appetizer sampler so that we could try the tenderloin, burger and the porky fries. Our food came out on a plate that had a chip the size of a silver dollar. The tenderloin was sogreasy and salty it was impossible to eat. The burger was topped with huge chucks of fat that were supposed to be bacon (see picit was disgusting). The buns on all of the sliders were rock hard as if they had been sitting out since yesterday. The porkyfries were cold. My 4 year old had the kids burger sliders and fries and didn?t touch any of it. The manager did adjust thebill, which was nice of her but the food that we were served should not have left the kitchen. I had high hopes and was sodisappointed. We left hungry. You can see in the pictures what was left. Super disappointed. Read more
