Handel's has the creamiest hard ice cream around. Our favorite ice cream place was closed due to a staffing shortage, so we... decided to give this place a try, and we're glad we did. The cinnamon roll and chocolate coffee chip ice creams were extremelydelicious. One can have a choice between a regular or waffle cone, and even a waffle bowl! We arrived on a Friday night around7:20 and had to let others order ahead of us because there were many flavors to choose from, including Spouse Like a House andPumpkin Ripple. Although it wasn't busy -- perhaps because of the lateness of the season -- there was still a steady stream ofpeople patronizing the place. The servers were quite pleasant and greet you with a smile. Ok, the ice cream was amazing, I must say. Banana split was perfection ???????????? but the reason I gave it 4 ???? instead if 5... is because the place was covered in webs and dead bugs that one literally fell in my icecream ???? of course I just scooped itout and continued to eat cause it was delicious but please, please power wash your outside ???? ???? First time here! Won't be the last. I saw them on one of the Saturday morning shows, I believe WNEP 16's Home & backyard where... they did a segment. I got their chocolate and peanut butter hurricane which is equivalent to a flurry or blizzard. It was madewith chocolate ice cream and was mixed with peanut butter cups. The creaminess of Handel's ice cream, combined with the unique flavors, make this a top creamery in my opinion. I highly... recommend the spouse like a house (pretzel bites with peanut butter swirl) and graham central station (graham cracker base, needI say more?). Only reason they aren't getting five stars is because I wish the staff would follow CDC recommendations and wear amask inside. Read more
