I?m writing this review from the parking lot while eating, I had to say how incredible it is. This is the best halal I?ve ever... had. I got the chicken shawarma platter, and every single part of this place is a 10/10. The kind man at the counter gave meextra sauce on the side which is always a plus! Went with my family and got combos for the cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. Also got a Philly cheese sandwich and combo... platter over rice. The food tasted great and everything was fresh. We dined in; the restaurant was spotless, service was alsosuper fast. High praise from all of us. A standout halal establishment with very reasonable prices. If you are looking for delicious and economical food, don?t look too far. This neighborhood restaurant with great service and... fresh food tops the list of any Saturday night take out list. Food is ethnic but the grill makes it multinational, order theirAfghan family combo and I bet although it is built for four and is plenty you will feel like eating it for two. I always end upover eating it, can?t stop, it?s so delicious. My next favorite the Shawarma platter, my kids love it as it has the fries, thesauces they love and it has enough balance of spice and rice that they are full by the time they are finished. I'm a Plainview resident and a diehard halal food fan. The possibility of a new halal place opening up near me has been a mouth... watering thought for quite some time. So the first week of this place opening, I was there excited and hoping this will belegit. Verdict is that the food is OKAY. If you are trying it for the first time you may think it's great but if you've triedhalal food elsewhere, comparatively this is okay. Just a few miles from here you can go to Hicksville (Hamza & Medina is my goto spot) and find better tasting food for a cheaper price. I'll be back here to try some of there other menu items. All thefood looks great, services is good/friendly, there is seating if you choose to stay and eat and plenty of parking. Also theygive you great tasting fries with a variety of sauces. Also every now and then they have a 15% off coupon in your newspaper. Good deal. Read more
Not a resident to Long Island but every time I?m here this little warm spot, recommended by a Jewish friend in the area is a... must eat on my list for great tasting food. It?s also Halal which means I can try EVERYTHING. By far my favourite on their menuis the Lemon Chicken soup but honestly you can?t go wrong. Pay them a visit - dine in or take out and you will thank me later! Read more
