Last night was our 4th time on Kinben sushi, which has now become our new local sushi spot. We usually have to travel 20... minutes for sushi so we are very excited to have a this local spot to go with our 2 young kids who love sushi! The sushi issuper fresh and amazing. My 6 year old daughter loves the sushi nori tacos! The waitress heard it was her birthday, and went outof her way to make her tempura fried Oreos and get a a candle. They were amazing. I highly recommend this sushi spot! Read more

Important! This place use to be called Heike Sushi, and the majority of the reviews here reflect that management. The most... recent reviews are now for Kinben Sushi which is the new management. I use to come here all the time when it was Heike Sushi. Iplaced my first order with their new management recently for a sushi lunch special and asked if they could make only the 6pcsushi part all salmon (it includes 6pcs sushi and a separate roll). I was okay paying an extra $3 for the sushi to be salmon. Iwas told they would do it this one time but not again even if I pay extra (which any other sushi place is fine with). After Ipicked up my order they forgot to include my spicy mayo which I payed for and made the ENTIRE order all salmon. Fine, mistakeshappen, no big deal. I called them back, sent a picture of the food and my original emailed receipt and asked if I can come backto pickup my missing spicy mayo and California roll. They told me 'no' and said they would just give me a refund. I'm honestlyshocked as I expressed I didn't want my money back, I just wanted the correct order. There are 3 other sushi places within a1/2 mile of Kinben. All of them are fine making changes to an order if the customer will pay the difference. They also would bewilling to give the correct order (or missing items) if the customer is okay driving back to pick it up. This is the last timeI'll come to Kinben Sushi. For my weekly sushi runs with my coworkers we will be visiting the other local sushi locations suchas Kumo, New Hama, and Miko. Read more

This Sushi place is one of the best! We had beef Yakusoba, spicy grill roll and sashimi deluxe, all of which are super... delicious. Sashimi is really fresh too. Customer service is excellent. I’ll definitely come back to this place with family andfriends. Read more

Small casual spot to sit, eat and drink. 20% off online orders is a nice perk although their website did give me some slight... issues. Staff was nice and adjusted the pricing for me since I had issues on the site. Overall there is a wide selection offoods and I specifically ordered a Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was thick and the noodles were firm but the overall flavor andtoppings left it feeling a little lacking. Generally, the ramen costs $12. For this price, there are other spots about the samedistance from my location that offer more for the buck (toppings, slices of pork) at a cheaper price point. Similarly, there areother Ramen spots that will be slightly more expensive but are well worth it for the amazing silky texture and flavor. If youare looking to get ramen at this location, I recommend ordering online to get it for just under $10 or during lunch specialtimes for under $9 which is then worth the value. Read more

Had the sushi roll lunch here. The rolls are pretty well made, large, with just the right amount of rice. Unfortunately, for... $13, the roll selection is somewhat poor, dominated by rolls like Spicy Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna, Spicy White Tuna, and SpicySalmon, which don't contain actual pieces of fish, but a paste like substance. My friend had a roll that contained pieces ofsalmon, and the fish did not look very fresh. The Salmon skin roll that I had was pretty good, but that's not raw fish. So ifyou're coming here for the sushi, you'll probably enjoy it more if you stick to the ones without raw fish. Otherwise, the placeis clean, the service is quick and polite, there's plenty of parking. Read more
