This was our first time visiting the Cotton Patch Cafe in Plainview, Texas. The place has a nice, laid-back ambiance to it. The... decor is nothing fancy, just comfortable. The wait staff are friendly and competent. We were greeted and seated right away. Theprices weren't cheap, but they weren't outlandish, either. The only complaint that I have is about the meal itself. My wife andI both ordered a BLT with fries. The taste of the sandwiches was good, but the bacon was tough as shoe leather. My thinking isthat a BLT sandwich is not easy to mess up, but... Although we were both disappointed by the tough bacon in our BLT's, my wifeand I would be willing to give the Cotton Patch another try someday. Read more

I'm only giving one star because you have to. My husband and I just ate there. We ordered our food and waited an hour and a half... before we got our food. Then it's was not right. I asked for a baked potato and got garlic mashed potatoes instead my husbandordered a steak well done and it was not well done. Ridiculous we will NEVER eat there again.
