So, here's the thing. I was a bit hesitant to come here because of all the bad reviews recently, but I had been here years ago... and it was fine. Plus the SO really wanted to come here. So we gave it a shot. I will start on the positive. The staff. Theywere extremely accommodating, quick to get us seated, and just overall fantastic. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars isbecause of the wonderful employees. Other than that, I want to talk about the food. The only thing that we liked were thenachos and the powdered donuts (we ate them so fast I didn't get to take a picture. Lol) The pasta/breadsticks/chicken werealmost inedible. The sauce was more like flavored, slightly thickened water, and the breadstick was thick and chewy. Pretzelswere not to my liking, but others might enjoy it. Honestly.... (Updateing it at the bottom)I wish i could give a zero star to this place. I tri ed to place an order online which couldn't... work. After that, i went in to order a takeout but a lady made me to stood there for a good 10 minutes no one came i left theresturent and then i finally orderd online for pickup. I was waiting outside my order supposed to come at 8:52 but when i callthat i am outside for # curbside pickup the same lady said we can't come out because its 9. I went in pickup the food the fishwas very greasy and raw from inside. They guys literally wasted my 1 hour and 15 minutes for a raw food. Amazing ????. Also theresturent was very dirty floor was wet This time fish is well cooked crispy and fresh. I went in service was fixed. Applebee's food was simple fare, you pretty much know what you're going to get. It certainly was not fine cuisine but not awful... fast food either. Ashley was very friendly, attentive and provided fast service. 2 for $30.00 choices came with 2 Ceasarsalads. Salad is plain as it gets but had good amount of cheese and dressing was good. Sirloin steak came with broccoli and agood amount of mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked medium but lacked any real kind of seasoning taste. Bourbon Street chickenand shrimp was served on a sizzling cast iron plate with a fair amount of chicken, shrimp and mashed potatoes. All of thoseitems tasted pretty good. Service, speed, price, portion size, decent quality.. all in all it's 4 stars. Read more
First of all we waited a while to be served. I was hungry but patient. I regret it, I definitely should?ve left! Please see... photos for what I ordered versus what I got! At 1st I thought maybe the pasta appeared dry because the sauce had fallen to thebottom! NOPE! I was so hungry I took a bite and wanted to spat it out! It tasted like paste! Flavorless and goey with theaudacity to be cold. As I referred to the photo I ordered from I realized the chicken I received looked nothing like the chickenin the photo either. My nieces food was good so I just waited for her to finish. As I waited long again to be asked howeverything was as no one paid attention when I tried to respectfully get their attention. Hands down the worst meal I?ve ever had, well, didn?t even eat. The food is absolutely disgusting. Squishy steak with white... broccoli and soupy mashed potatoes. Never ever coming back. Our server Tim was great. Nothing on him. Do not eat here, for thesake of your stomach. Read more
