I went to buy a beef meat.when I smell beef that was giving very bad smell. Even the Spanish guy who was cutting meat. Smell and... said not good meat. Then honour came smell meat said its fine put back in the freezer. That was giving horrible smell. Honourand his wife was very rude.they didn't listen to us. I will.not recommend anybody to buy meat or dine in this place. They willuse spices to get rid of that bad smell meat. And cook for you. U will get diarrhea or food poising... Etc. Very Rude. We take out their Nihari and traveled all the way from Windsor Locks for it because of a very high recommendation from a... friend. Single serving of Nihari was good enough for 2 people if you are not too hungry. Nihari was good and competitive withothers in the area. But their was a slight bitter after-taste to it when ate with naan. I don't know whether it was the Niharior the naan. Because I couldn't taste it when I tried each of them separately, but it was there when tasted together. I think itwas the naan because I sometime feel it in the ready made Arab naans bought from Arab shops. All in all it was well worth ithence the 4 stars, but that bitter taste killed it hence taking one star away. Read more
Food is great. Order whole tandoori chicken 2 hours ahead of arrival. Chicken tandoori boti is also very nice.
Worth the yelling The owner will voice any and all inner thoughts, but the food is absolutely incredible. Definitely try the... mutton briyani if you?re going here, and order a bit early but not too early. Read more
We ordered chicken biriyani and samosas from them. Was so fresh, hot and super delicious. Price was very reasonable at $10.99... only and quantity was pretty sufficient. Will definitely visit again. Thumbs Up ???????? Read more
food was good but they need to advertise online and offline that between 330-430 the restaurant is closed.. we walked in a few... weeks ago and couldn't get any service, the owner told us the staff is taking a lunch break; very disappointing because we droveone hour to grub -- nihari could've been better, it was delicious but what about the sauce and ghee? nihari sauce is supposed tobe all over the place -- owner doesn't have the best attitude (don't know why) -- someone needs to be in the kitchen at alltimes prepping food, 330-430 pm are primetime, restaurant hours imo, there shouldn't be an excuse to close down shop in themiddle of the day, especially when we're driving from NY or boston, not many other good desi restaurants in CT, this is one ofthe best though, so friendly note to owner & staff to keep the kitchen & service going from 3-5 pm -- last note, why doesn'trestaurant have chicken & rice? pic below is from jackson heights ny, there are 1000 shops in NYC that have chicken & rice, DCalso, plz get chicken & rice on the menu such as the pic posted -- guarantee more ppl would come and sales would increase if therestaurant served the latest & greatest Read more
Pathetic service. Even after getting the table, there was nobody to take an order or serve food. The behaviour of the guy who... took the order (assuming he was the owner of the restaurant) was very rude. Weirdly, we were asked to order appetisers, the maincourse & desert ALL at once as if the guy was doing us a favour! Absolutely not interested to treat his customers in a nicemanner. Also, they have not updated any of the food prices on their website or on the menu card so you might get confused whilepaying the bill. Otherwise, the food is good. If you happen to go, do try their chicken tikka, mutton kebab, shami Kebab,chicken samosas, haryali chicken gravy, their korma & naan. I tried their chilli naan & garlic naan.
