AMAZING! That's the easiest way to describe this place, just amazing. The place has a great decoration, the bar looks fantastic,... personnel is really nice and food... omg! Best pulled pork burger I ever had. And not only that, I do recommend having a"poutine" (big bowl of fries loaded with cheese, pulled pork and a tasty gravy) as an entrée, you won't regret it but becareful not no fed up yourself cause you'll need lots of space for the main course. I do really recommend this place!! Read more

Dangerously good food, cool drink options too if you aren't into beer. Really nice to have something different instead of the... usual. Everything is so flavorful. Read more

A great little gem in downtown Plainville! Definitely recommend. There is a HUGE selection of beers (tap, can,and bottle). A... decent cocktail menu -- I was able to try something different, a black gin. The bartender was amazing and knowledgable. shediscussed the cocktails and turned me on to a new liquor. She was running the bar and several tables on her own. Cocktails weredelicious. Reasonable pricing. Food was interesting and I can't wait to try more! We had the stuffed squash blossoms, alwaysamazing, and a truffle Ceasar salad. The truffle was a fabulous addition to a classic. Definitely will be back! Read more

I like this place. The the food and atmosphere are great for us. The noise level is oddly low, even half full of people with... music playing. We were able to have a conversation at the table without raised voices. I had the elk sausage on a pretzel rollwith house made chips. The sausage had a medium gamey flavor, which I like. The roll was a little firm and doughy, like a goodhot pretzel. The presentation was cute with the chips arranged as a spill out of a basket. Wait staff was friendly andefficient. Beer choice was better than most places and had 5 stout/porter/brown ales. They also had a plethora of those bitterundrinkable IPAs. Read more

Hop Haus in Plainville scores a win on all counts. Atmosphere inside is low key casual with great music playing in background. ... Service was super friendly and talkative. All food items were great. Appetizer of Mai Tai Cauliflower was just as good as youwould get in any high end restaurant. Lightly fried and mixed with a Mai Tai sauce and a side of peanut sauce. This appetizeralone is worthy of the 5 stars. Korean BBQ tacos were filled to the top and tasted great. Giant Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwichwas indeed gigantic!! The combo of all the flavors on the chicken sandwich paired perfectly. Hop Haus in Plainville isdefinitely worth a repeat visit. Read more

Beer list is wide and varied, with 20+ taps and 12+ bottles and cans. Staff is amazing, prompt and courteous. Stronglyrecommend reservations if your party is 6+. Read more

The drinks were excellent. They even had prosecco on tap! The charcuterie platter was worth EVERY penny. It had Peruvian... sweet pepper drops that popped in your mouth! My husband said the fish and chips were some of the best he's ever had. Ourfriend had the Lou's Grilled Cheese and he said it was incredible with the Applewood smoked bacon, goat cheese and fig jam. Myfriend and I shared the poutine and Mai Tai cauliflower which were both excellent. Everything came out piping hot, even thepumpkin lava cake! The vibe is so great hear, along with the music selection that plays on a juke box you can control from anapp on your phone. And our server Eryn was awesome - she was on her game the entire night, even when it started to get reallybusy. We will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu! Read more

Great spot in downtown Plainville. Stay away from all those chains down Rt 10 and stop in here for happy hour, a great selection... of local beers, and good food. It’s more pub fare style with a large selection rotating local brews. Plus they have a greatoutdoor patio. The server Eryn was especially fantastic and even remembered us the next time we came in.
