Ummmm yeah!!! This will be my frequent stop on EVERY visit to CT. Honestly I didn't expect for it to be as good as it was! The... chocolate mousse cake had only two slices left and that should have prompted me to get both, but nooo. Oh how I regret that. Ieven went to the Hartford location but they didn't have it. Every cake and cupcake we bought was amazing!!! The customer servicewas not so great, could have been just an off day maybe Much better service at the Hartford location. I would give zero stars if I could. I special ordered a large rum cake for a birthday party. I picked it up last night and when... I went to serve it at the party today all the guests complained that there is no rum in the cake and that it is so dry to thepoint it is inedible. I contacted Mozzicato to ask if I could return it for a refund and was told they do not give refunds andthat I could either return it for a smaller cake that was already made and sitting out in the case, or return it for a storecredit. What kind of a company sells a customer an inedible product and then refuses to refund them their money?? Then to makematters worse, I was informed that in order to even get a store credit I will need to first return the cake today and THEN theowner will call me and discuss the possibility of issuing me the store credit. Talk about HORRIBLE customer service. I will bereturning the cake. I will also be contacting the CT Attorney General about this. My advice to anyone thinking about getting acake for their loved ones special occasion is to go somewhere else. The food here is awful and they DO NOT stand by theirproducts or care about their customers. Shame on them. Read more
I stopped here on a whim, craving some type of Italian pastry. The parking was ample. The store was clean and smelled amazing.... The staff was friendly. I got cookies, sfogliatelle, and a cannoli which was freshly made. Everything was amazing. Read more

On 10/23/22, I attempted to purchase individual rum cake pastries. When I asked the server for slices towards the front of the... case because the ones in the back looked small, she pulled the tray out, looked at them for a second, then said no, they're allthe same size. I again asked for I wanted & told her they were for company, they looked better. She refused saying their policyis that they only take from the back. I told her I didnt want any of them, paid for a few items I already had, then left. Today,I called to speak with a manager. The girl who answered wouldn't let me speak to him unless I told her who I was & why I wascalling. She said he wants to know these things before he would talk to me. She then proceeded to tell me that was their policyand the manager would tell me the same. This could have been the girl I dealt with that day!
