Unfortunately I had a bad ordering experience. They shorted us 1 chicken tempura roll and refused to believe us when we called... to dispute that at least 5 to 6 rolls were missing. That order was 3 different peoples meals. Now 1 person is without a meal.The hard part is they made no effort to correct the situation. Sad we won?t be back. Read more

Yummy Sushi is one of the few amazing sushi places in town. It is definitely my go to place for sushi. I normally get take out... and the quality is what you?d expect great sushi to be. They have my order ready within 15-20 min. I have never beendisappointed. I normally get the spicy tuna roll and a California tempura roll (not on the menu but they will make it if youask). This time I decided to be adventurous and get two of the chef?s special rolls and the teriyaki chicken. I have to say Iwill be adding the fast and furious roll to my normal order. I love that they labeled the rolls so I will remember what waswhat. The fast and furious roll had avocado, shrimp tempura topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo sauce, eel sauce, and red tobiko(fish roe). The princess roll had spicy crab, avocado, and seaweed topped with tuna, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. Th princess rollwas a bit slimy in texture, but still very good. I?ve never had seaweed in sushi before and I absolutely loved the flavor andslightly crunchy texture. First time ordering the teriyaki chicken too. The teriyaki chicken had onions, mushrooms, and zucchiniin a delicious not too sweet, not too salty teriyaki sauce. The vegetables were under the chicken (Sorry for no picture. Icouldn?t wait any longer and devoured it). The chicken was nicely cooked. Very big portion of both chicken and vegetables. Itcame with jasmine rice and salad. Stopped in today to try the lunch roll special and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and the staff was very efficient... and accommodating. If you are looking for a sushi place in Plainville definitely give Yummi sushi a try. Read more
Quick, Friendly, and Delicious! I accidentally wound up here and it has been on of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. ... I had the Fast & Furious Roll which tasted excellent. The staff were on point making sure the food was on par and drinks werefilled. The facility was clean and refreshing! I highly recommend eating here! Read more
Delicious sushi rolls and other meals. LOVE the yaki udon. Generous portions. Fried rice is the best i?ve had in a minute.
