Our server was excellent but the food was bland. The coke was good. The chicken I had reminded me of the high school cafeteria... chicken that tastes rubbery and fake. My wife had the nachos and they were probably the worst nachos I’ve had in a while. Verybland and tasteless. Although everything was very good, food lacks flavor, but the attention is unbeatable. There is a wide variety on the menu,... including vegetarian options, kids menu and variety of drinks, I went for watermelon margarita and fajita trio (that includesshrimp, beef and chicken)..beef was so delicious. Our server was efficient and attentive! Fair pricing for food portions even though it was slightly more expensive than other... Mexican restaurants. The chicken fajitas were tender and flavorful! It was our first time having dinner at Abuelos. I must say we really enjoyed the food and the nicely decorated restaurant. Food was good and reasonably price, of course we got off the lunch menu lunch enchiladas and the Mexican stack, and my daughter... and husband got a plater and burritos and they said it was good. I do think drinks are on the pricey side. My premium beveragewas a strawberry lemonade for 4.29. They do offer military discount and that's a plus.
