Seriously, this is the best dining experience I have ever had. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Yes, and then some. I have eaten steaks... around the world, and Bar-Ranch is the best I have ever had. Service, top notch. Food quality, exquisite. Atmosphere, warm andwelcoming. We have been several times for lunch and dinner, and we are surprised every time. You think an experience can't getbetter but it does here - every single time. It is so damn good. If you haven't eaten here, do yourself a favor and treatyourself. Read more

Both the ribeye and burger were grilled perfectly right before our eyes on a wood stove. Great beers and decadent cakes! The... owner treated us with freebies and placed a dozen roses on the table for our anniversary. The atmosphere was intimate andinteresting to look around. We'll be back! Read more

10 out of 10 experience!! We came here last night for my birthday and not only was the staff amazing but the owner came and... greeted us and explained everything that would be prepared for us for the evening. It was a five course meal and every singleitem was delicious. When she delivered the cake she also delivered a handwritten birthday card from the crew!! Great experience! We celebrated our 16th anniversary here. From the second we walked in they made it a special experience. There... were roses and a nametag at the table and the owner came up to greet us and congratulate us on our anniversary. Every bite offood was interesting and delicious. Great atmosphere and good food. The wait staff was attentive and there to answer all our questions. Hats off to the Chef! He... made the experience that much better. On a side note the Banana Foster it was not what I expected. It looked like a bowl ofsoup. It definitely did not look like the pictures on the review I looked at before going to the restaurant. This was a surprise experience for me last Saturday. Chef Chris and Owner Lane, invited me to dinner with a friend. Their... restaurant is fashioned after my hometown of NYC steakhouse culture. Their stunning drying/aging room on display assures thevisitors of the chef’s thorough understanding of this craft. The chef, owner, and manager took time to explain each course ofthe dinner for two, along with the ideas behind the menu choices and style of the restaurant. Chef Chris is clearly passionateabout what he serves, and his love of “quality ingredients executed perfectly” comes through with each creative expressionon the menu. The Wagyu Steak Tartare is a must, along with the wedge salad -who knew a wedge salad could hold such complexflavors they actually provide a near travel experience with each bite?? The porterhouse really was perfection along with thesides and trimmings. Chef Chris finished us off with flambéd bananas fosters table side, as though there was room to even takeanother bite! But trust me, we did! The food was outstanding and passionately prepared.This paired with the sincere warmth ofLane and Chef Chris, along with the intimate ambience, old world music and excellent service, our experience felt more likevisiting with old friends who genuinely cared for me, than a standard restaurant. Hands down one the best steak house in Dallas. This institution scores aces on all aspects. Delicious food! Great chef! Great... staff! Definitely coming back. Chris (head chef) cooked us two off menu items and extra wagyu meat!!! Liam (great host) madeselecting beer easier. Showed and explain everything about the meat before it went to the chef. They were sincere with ourrequest for a dinner menu at lunch hour. Kept us in the know, what was happening and what they were serving. Seating was niceand simple in front of the big glass fridge where they hang the meat. Easy easy recommendation for any meat lover. Read more

The owner took time to explain different mix of cows. The server was attentive. The steak was awesome!! There are so many... choices for lunch but had the special. F1 wagyu skewers. The dry age room was amazing. Read more
