Sat at bar. Ordered the pimento cheese fritters and crab cakes. Both were excellent. Drank the Cohito. That was good but... overpriced for what you get. Was there any alcohol in it? I couldn't tell. Ambience was nice. I would recommend but only hadcouple appetizers. Read more

Loved our server Jack from Kansas!! Welcome to Texas. This was our 1st time to Hookline and we'll be back. Atmosphere was great.... The patio had plenty of shade!! Service was outstanding. Thank you again Jack :) Food was great and plenty of it. The friedgreen tomatoes are to die for especially the sauce that comes with it. Can't wait to go back. Read more

I've been here several times since opening and a few patterns have developed - the food is usually really good, but service and... pricing not so much. For regulars of the original Hook Line and Sinker, we are always annoyed that the fried shrimp platteronly comes with four shrimp. Yes, four. That's like a starter. Whereas the original offers a choice of six or twelve, which isa much better value. The service has always been just average at best. I really hope they up their game and stay around. There are so few choices around these parts for good seafood, especially southern style. Read more

After coming here more than 3 times, it's finally time to give a review. This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the... service is top notch. I've come for both dinner and brunch and have never been disappointed. If you come for brunch, sit at thebar and talk to Octavio, he is the best bartender/server! Read more

I love the blacken salmon tacos on Tuesdays! They are my favorite. Stopped in today to get them to go and even when I got them... to go the food was excellent and out fast. Super spectacular service. You will not be disappointed if you go! Read more
