I went there recently and ordered the Hunan fried rice and a peppered beef. Neither of the items which I ordered was what I... expected, but it was still delicious. The pepper beef was more spicy than peppery if that makes sense. The fried rice wassomewhat vague as far as the description goes, so it was more of a hit or miss. None the less, I enjoyed their food so I'lldefinitely return. Read more

Update 7/18/2021 Beijing Brother chef is selling Peking Duck here!! What an incredible combination. You can get Peking Duck... along authentic Hunan style dishes. The food here is authentic Hunan-style Chinese cuisine. The spicy level is up there. It isspicy! The flavors are great. It is savory, spicy and not too oily like many other places. My favorite dish is the stir friedpork with egg and jalapeños. It is super spicy but so tasty and goes so well with a bowl of rice. Yum! The dried bacon (Hunanstyle Charcuterie tried the sausage, bacon and beef) stir fried with cauliflower or leek is also really tasty. Read more

The food from here is pretty good, some dishes are stellar and some are okay. So you need to be careful about what you decide to... eat. We really like the spicy fish that comes with the noodles from here. Other dishes like their stir fried pork with mushroomor their bamboo pork are moderate to good. They started self service old Beijing style hotpot,$24.95 per person recently,theflavor is very good! Also the owner was flexible and brought out some vegetables that were not already at the bar. Ordered to go, young man at the front register was polite and very helpful. Nice quiet family run business perhaps... Order was... ready within 10 minutes, packed securely and piping hot. Containers were pleasantly deceitful, great quality and generousmeat/chicken to veggie ratios. Loved my orange chicken? More beef in our broccoli beef than other places. Will definitelyreturn! Miss the food so much. Hunan Taste. Soy bean with pork meat is one of my favorite, I usually get two bowls of rice. Mongolian... beef, Crispy Fried Shrimp, Fried Frogs, Tieban Beef etc. The owner usually offer the free appetizer for me. Since Being an oldcustomer for few years. I know their family very well. Authentic, unpretentious, delicious Hunan food. Their house made ham is out of this world, get the Hunan fried rice to enjoy the... thinly sliced smoked ham but be careful not to eat too much like I do entry time I go.
