We really expected to love this food, based on reviews, so we were shocked by how bad it was. Maybe we hit an off day. We... ordered the chicken sandwich, pork & pineapple sandwich, fried potatoes and a cupcake to go and and arrived home minutes later. I understand things can get soggy when packed for takeout, but this food was so disgusting we threw it away after a few bites. The bread was of very low quality and flavorless, the chicken sandwich was way over-sauced and the meat was an unpleasanttexture. Flavor not bad but unremarkable. The pork loin meat itself had good flavor but the pineapple was raw rather thangrilled as promised and the queso fresco was absent. It just wasn?t a good sandwich. The potatoes were grossly undercooked,not just limp from being packed to go. The cupcake was very dry and my partner threw it away after one bite. This place is amazing and I don?t know how they have less than five stars and a line out of the door! This place checks all the... boxes: polite customer service, outstanding atmosphere, and the food is so fresh! All that they offer is so well done it?s likea work of art. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be back because this is the bestrestaurant I?ve been in in as long as I can remember and I work in the industry! When I tell you this is a hidden gem, know that I am underselling it. I have been craving a solid Cuban sandwich for about a... year and this not only satisfied my craving it has opened up a whole new addiction for Latin cuisine. The fries are really wellseasoned, they have fountain drinks on tap, and even Mexican cokes/topo chicos on standby! A diverse vegitarian menu as well,The tomato mozzarella sandwich was a huge hit with my fiance. Not to mention their homemade deserts and coffee cafe menu! A musttry. Read more
I waited a year for the Plano location to open and I'm so glad they were able to make it happen! Their chicken sandwich is a... must. The chicken is juicy, well-seasoned and the pickled veggies + make this a hearty and flavorful sandwich. The only othermenu item I've tried is their strawberry salad with chicken and it was delicious which is no surprise - good ratio ofingredients and not over-dressed. Every bit as good as the Abrams location! SO glad Latin Deli is finally in Plano! The Chicken Sandwich is my favorite and my... husband loves the Cubano. Staff is friendly and service is quick! My new favorite lunch spot in Plano! Can?t wait to go back forchocolate banana crepes! Read more
I love the original Latin deli on Northwest Highway but this location is more convenient to me because it?s 2 stores down from... my chiropractor. It?s a relatively new thus making a cleaner. it?s always a good time when you find somewhere that you wantto. The only negative is that they don?t put enough meat in the sandwiches. Shrinkflation is real. I got a pulled turkeysandwich with fries and a mango smoothie. $18 The lady at the counter was super helpful and friendly. Read more
