I've been coming here for a long time now, and always think that I like the idea of it way more than I actually like it. The... food is always decent, and sometimes really good, but also can be disappointing. It's quite the mix. Service has always beenfriendly but often times not very good. It can take a long time to get service, even when they aren't busy. They are good atkeeping coffee topped off, but not great about waters or checking if you need anything. Inside is cute, but feels crowded.They've moved some things so it's less crowded now, but still not great. It's frequently loud, even when not very full. Thepatio seating isn't the most comfortable, but it is fun to sit outside and do people watching. Overall, this place is worthgoing to and I'll continue to keep coming back, even if I think it's mediocre. Read more

I love that my sisters surprised me for my birthday today! The service, atmosphere, reasonable price was great! The Santa Monica... chicken add a little pepper to it and this is the Bomb! Tomato basil soup delicious and I?m so glad there is no cheese added toit! French onion soup delicious! Sweet potato fries seasoned and cooked perfectly! We all enjoyed the food and mimosa! All wasgood until I tasted the dessert this evening. It tasted off and when I cut the second piece there was mold. I am horrified andthe taste is still in my mouth after flossing and brushing. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture before devouring half of it! I got the chicken and waffles. It was good but would have been great if they would had added some salt to the chicken and the... batter it was fried in. Also, I think it would be a nice touch to give a compote of butter and warm syrup instead of to gopackets of butter and syrup. With my order I purchased a Chai Tea Latte... it was a little watery and once I got to the bottomof the cup I realized the contents hadn't been mixed well.
