Food: Off the menu they have fried tilapia, fries and hushpuppies which my in laws got - theirs was super good. My husband and I... got jollof rice, his with goat mine with chicken. My chicken was not edible because it was so hard and overcooked. The meatcouldn't even be cut. I also tried eating it with my hands instead of cutting it and my teeth felt like they were hitting solidsurface. So a whole piece of chicken was leftover from my meal. Price: Before you go first know that the menu prices are moreexpensive than shown. The waitress told us this when we sat down but didn't outline how much everything was exactly. For theabovementioned things and water we paid $80. Now the jollof rice I kind of get, however am disappointed with since my chickenwasn't edible. However for the jollof rice and chicken being a menu staple, my order seemed like it was "substituted" withchicken making it $2 more. Mine and my husband's meals were $22 each. My in laws simple fried tilapia and fries were$15/plate. We enjoyed the atmosphere despite the music being so loud we couldn't hear ourselves but won't be back. Between thequality of the main entrees and the music, it almost felt uninviting. Very disappointed and I felt like I wasted money. Read more

This was not the first time we went here. It has been awhile though since covid. We went on a friday night and it was pretty... much empty. The place used to be teally good but today was a big disappoinment. They ran out a lot of the things for hotpot andthe food that they did have lack freshness and quality. That explains the vacant restaurant. Read more

I can say that I have never had food that I choked down until my most recent experience. If it weren’t for the fact it was... late and my kids needed to eat I would’ve sent everything back and gone to the buffet next door. At least the food there hasa relative quality. From the time I arrived til I got water was almost 20 minutes. It took 20 minutes after getting water toget hot appetizers (so 40 minutes after sitting) and 30 to get entrees (50 minutes total) and more time for a single sushiorder. The food was burnt. No joke fried chicken had burnt pieces on it like it was fried and subsequently thrown on a flattop for some unknown reason. By the way be wary of the menu in general. The takoyaki on the menu is beautifully presented with8 pieces covered in sauce, Japanese Mayo and all the accoutrements. I said hey for $5.50 that’s not bad. What I got were 5sad little balls with a dollop of Mayo (more like a pea size nothing) and some vegetables. The servers appeared to just behanging out. They seemed to enjoy getting cocktails more than food. I had a great previous experience here so to bedisappointed like this was mind boggling. Let’s also discuss the atmosphere. It’s hot. Like the ac didn’t work hot. I won’t be eating here again. Period. I don’t know if this restaurant has new ownership or what and I feel bad because Ilike supporting local restaurants but again I won’t patron here again Read more

If you are looking for a meal on a cold day or if you are craving soup than Zhabuki is wonderful restaurant. It's actually a... great place to socialize with a group since the food is centered around a communal "hot pot" that allows people to essentiallycook their vegetables and proteins in a "melting pot" of flavors. I do recommend that you Youtube "Zagat Hotpot" forinstructions if you are a beginner. The restaurant looks clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff are friendly and willcome around to refill our water and soup. Everything on the menu is affordable and not pricey. I definitely recommend thisplace! Read more
