The restaurant was hopping on our first visit to Shell Shack. My husband and I shared a bowl of the chicken and sausage gumbo,... which was really good. After, I had grilled shrimp and hush puppies. The grilled shrimp doesn't come with any sides, so thosemust be ordered ala carte. The hush puppies were good, but the grilled shrimp was a huge disappointment. They were grilled withthe shells on, which made the shells difficult to remove. The shrimp were large, but VERY tough. My husband ordered The Boss,which is fried catfish, shrimp, hush puppies, and fries. The catfish wasn't that good, had the real fishy dirt taste thatcatfish sometimes has. The shrimp were large, fried with a flour batter, no cornmeal, and once again, very tough. Although ourmeal was disappointing, we had THE BEST SERVER, Joshua, which is the only reason for the 4 stars. He was personable, charming,and attentive. We never had to ask for drink refills or anything, as he was on the ball! I don't see us ever returning to ShellShack since there are much better seafood restaurants around, but it was nice to try out a new place. Read more
Service is always fantastic here. We celebrated a birthday lunch here and it was like no other restaurant celebration we've... experienced. One of their staff members ***SANG*** a birthday song and got the whole restaurant involved. It was incredible.Tristan was our server and he stayed on top of all our needs. Our drinks stayed full. This was our first time here and I have to say our waiter Levi was awesome, he was very polite, courteous and very professional.... The food was amazing, the mango margarita was exceptional. I'm not one to drink Bloody Mary's, but this one is the best I'veever tasted (sorry no photo). We will be back, thank you for a great experience. Read more
Short and to the point review : Trendy, upbeat atmosphere, delicious and fairly priced food, and some of the best service I have... ever received. Plus they're open until 2am. Try it and you'll keep coming back again and again. Longer review time! My wife andI started ordering from Shell Shack through uber eats as we both get out of work late. We fell in love with their menu andcontinued for a month or two before realizing they were less than 10 minutes from the house. We decided to stop in and found afun and friendly place to eat and have a few drinks, even after midnight. Their grilled shrimp is possibly the best shrimp Ihave ever had and their bacon wrapped scallops are to die for. The servers are all very friendly and inviting, making you feellike you're just hanging with some friends for beers and dinner. Josh always goes above and beyond to make our visits wonderfuland I can't praise him enogh for the job he's doing. I don't think I have any complaints after having eaten here tens of times.Seriously do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won't regret it. Read more
A nice bar type atmosphere with the ability to take family and friends for a good seafood experience. Staff are well trained,... courteous and very hospitable. The food, options and main items are good in terms of proportions and quantity. The quality ofseafood is above average and the seasoning is a bit on the salty side. Overall a good experience and recommended for people witha seafood craving and for those that just want a typical American favorites like burgers etc. Read more

Pretty darn good food. Food came out hot and steaming in the boil bags and we were given the option to keep it in the bags... or display it on the trays. Was a nice touch. They supply all the necessary tools for seafood consumption. I definitely recommend using the gloves. Read more
