Best southern find! Like the Carolinas! The portions were large, and lots of sides, soup or salad too. Best option for price... like grandma’s cooking. And the best homemade pie! We had the apple. I went there last Saturday let me tell you the food is delicious. My waitress was Gigi. Gigi very super duper friendly and... patient, gives us time to look at the menu’s. She also sits with you and gives you great suggestion. She’s very fast andprofessional and also helpful. She’s very sincere bubbly and funny. She puts a lot of effort what she dose. We finally tried this amazing place after many years of just driving by. It's hidden a little in the plaza but wow was I... surprised at all the details they put into preparing some really good southern recipes. We had endless fish, beef tips andhomemade pies. So so so yummy!! Read more
I like this place, food was good, fast and seems like they are handling thing pretty efficiently. I had Gigi as a waitress, she... was pretty funny, her charisma was excellent, just a lovely waitress hands down. And to top it off the prices were reasonable soyeah. I just ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash. I was disgusted. The chicken strips were burnt. The Mac and cheese was... missing as well as the gravy. Rolls were raw in the middle. Mashed potatoes were consistency of soup and there were two randomnoodles floating in the black eyed peas. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve never left a bad review for a restaurant,but this was over the top. DoorDash was very helpful and understanding once they saw the pictures I produced and immediatelyoffered a full refund.
