Steve Fields has always been one of my favorite places. This was my first time back since they reopened their doors and it was... delicious. I used to go to Steve Fields restaurant with my mother for special occasions..Birthday's, etc. And I've been there on many... dinner dates as well. I noticed that they had closed permanently during covid. I was sad about that.. and my mother had passedaway during that time too. So it was especially sad for me. But then a couple of months ago I told my boyfriend about SteveFields and my experiences there..all great.. a few days later..my boyfriend told me that he saw the New Steve Fields restaurantthat had opened across the street from where it used to be.. I was so excited and I Googled it to make sure..and yes! He took methere for my Birthday! Steve..the owner had found out it was my Birthday and personally brought me a slice of cake andintroduced himself..So nice????? Dinner was Amazingly delicious too. We split the wedge salad.. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye..Myboyfriend ordered a 20oz Prime Rib. I'll definitely continue to go back! Read more
My husband and I were so sad to see Steve Fields leave Plano, so it was with great joy to find out my favorite steak house would... be back! Once again, I enjoyed foods that no one else in all of Dallas serves. Of course, I ordered all my favorites! Theservice is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. Very solid steakhouse. Bottles of wine are very reasonably priced (about $20 over retail price). Crab cake appetizer was... delicious. My filet mignon was very tender and full of flavor. They also have live entertainment but you have to be seated inthe bar area. The inside vibe was great too! Read more

So, the first review was impressive because it opened today, Sunday. However, being that I was trying to be the first, I asked... if they served people 22 hours ago. Yes they did have an invite only. Sons of Bs. Anyway, the food was fantastic. This was thefirst time I had the opportunity to order a Caesar salad with anchovies. I will never order it any other way if possible and Iwill now scoff at restaurants that don't offer anchovies on the Caesar. I ordered the prime rib. It was delicious. A perfectmedium rare. The au jus was one of the best I've had. That includes Lawry's. They split the steak up for my children andpackaged everything for us. This was super convenient for a single dad. Mr. Steve Fields, himself, was here for opening night.Such a classy gentleman. Talked to him for a few minutes then he offered my kids any dessert on the menu. Class my friends.Class. So glad Steve Fields reopened. Though it's has been reopened for a bit, glad I finally made it in. The old location was an... iconic place and this is the same- known for their "Happy Hour" as well as their excellent food. Prime rib top of chart !!! This is a fantastic neighborhood meeting place, not just a chain High End Place .... Come in for Happy Hour, Fantastic Dinner,or to celebrate a special occasion...
