I enjoyed this casual dining experience. on a busy Saturday night we were able to get a seat quickly. The waitress was very... nice. Our food came out promptly and was hot and delicious. They even let us customize our order and pizza without any hassle. Ialso enjoyed the live music. Read more

Cool vibe and place to relax. They have live music every Friday and Saturday starting at 730pm. Good selection of drinks. BBQ... sliders were excellent. The pizookie dessert was amazing. Reason for 3 stars is the pizza. It tasted really bland and lacked anyflavor. We got the classic Rossa and queen Margherita pizzas. Read more

Tried them for lunch, have lunch hour specials with salad, pizza and soda. The menu has lot of options for pizza. Place is nice... and big. Not too busy in the lunch hours. The server forget to get the soda but it’s ok. I tried Tuscan veggie pizza with farmhouse sale which came out well. Read more

Taverna Rossa is probably one of my favorite spots for pizza in Plano. They offer thin crust specialty pizzas and cocktails... served fresh. We ordered half of the chicken bacon boom-boom and a Mac and cheese speciality pizza. Both of which weredelicious! Cocktail pictured: the honey bee. Read more

Taverna Rossa is a cute little pizza spot in Plano perfect for a family meal! We went for our weekly family pizza Friday and... they were playing great live music. The live music is on a stage that’s pretty much in the center of the restaurant. Wearrived right at 6 and only had to wait about 20-25 minutes on what was a very busy Friday for them ( they had a wedding partygoing on). There’s plenty of waiting of room outside to sit and for the kids to walk around. Our boys enjoyed the kids pizzaand the pretzel with cheese. The food came out very quickly which we really appreciated it! The stag salad was good and theyeven split for me and my husband and served it in a cold salad bowl. The only complaint I had is that the fig pizza was overcooked and seem to lack any kind of sauce so it was dry and not good… it could have been that we ordered wrong and we’lldefinitely plan to go back and hopefully will enjoy another pizza more than this one. Overall definitely would recommend thisplace. Read more

Stopped by for lunch the other day and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the lunch special was. $12 for a salad, pizza and... drink! I decided to try the deviled eggs of the month and the queso as well. I didn’t try any cocktails as I had to head backto work but I can’t wait to checkout the bar! Overall the food was a 10/10 as well as the service! Read more

Wow, I have to say I am not surprised often by a restaurant, but they did it here! We had looked into going to another pizza... place but the wait was too long on open table. We live in Rockwall, about 30 minutes away and wanting good Pizza. So, we jumpedin the car, made a reservation over the phone and away we went When we arrived we were impressed with the layout, the mood, andthe all around atmosphere of the location. We were seated fairly quickly and had a server named Dillon that sat us. There waslive music, that played some great music and I could not help myself and found myself belting out a few lines on occasion. Theyhave a great selection of beer and spirits and I had an Old Fashioned made with Buffalo Trace. Dillon recommended I try out oneof his favorites, and it was sweater than my old fashioned and left a syrup feeling on my lips. Not my cup of tea but still notterrible. The pizza was fantastic, like, next level good. We ordered the smoke house BBQ pizza and the Pinky Pig. Have to say, both were something that I will be ordering again. We started with the cheese bread, it wasn't anything special really, justsome french bread with melted cheese and we opted to have the salmi adde for $2 more. Good, but not worth the $10, would haverather paid an extra couple bucks for anther pie. We had a salad, but I forgot the name. We will be back for sure. The pricingis in the neighborhood of 15% higher than it should be for everything across the board from drinks to pies. Many places are nottaking into account that when you charge these rates, when a customer comes in, we know we need need to add at least 30% toaccount for the tax and tip. I would have had a 3rd drink, but at $11 for an Old fashion ($15+ after tax and tip) I decided topour myself one at home that cost me $3 with a better bourbon. Stand alone with better parking and a more upscale atmospherecould justify the pricing in my eyes. I will be back, but when our bill was $150 for 2 pies, a Read more
