Came here for a casual dinner with my girlfriend and the place left quite the impression. From the friendly greet at the host... stand to our server David, who was very knowledgeable and walked us through the menu. We had the bacon wrapped scallops whichwere incredible. I had the prime rib and my girlfriend ordered the sirloin steak with the twice baked potato. The food wasamazing but what really sold us was the service provided by David. We will definitely be returning for the delicious food andhopefully get an opportunity to sit with David again. Read more

The service and food was absolutely amazing! The nachos with beef were cheesy and loaded up for every bite. The tortilla bowls... for the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa was cool, hadn’t seen that before. Great calamari and the red dipping sauce wastasty. We all had the burger, omg that was tasty. Came here to celebrate anniversary of our first date. Food was excellent, service was good. She checked on us several times. ... We both went with classic meals since it comes with a salad. My husband and I went to the Keg because we had a giftcard, and we were pleasantly surprised!! The hostesses were so kind and... our server (sorry don’t remember her name) was very attentive! We enjoyed our salads, steaks, and sides. Steaks were cookedwell and to our liking. We didn’t think we had room for dessert, but ended up eating the entire Billy miner pie - so good! Site Guide review Visited The Keg tonight for the first time in a year. No special occasion, just felt like getting out. The... place is a little pricey for us, so this is a real treat. 3 adults and 1 child. We made reservations for 6, showed up at5:45 and were quickly sat. Our server was a young gal name "chris". We were immediately waited on. Our server was amazing. Every step of the way. She gets 5 stars. In the current environment we are grateful that there are still wonderful serversout there. Started off with 3 onion soups, I had the wedge salad. The onion soup was amazing. Piping hot and delicious. Thewedge wasnt exciting at all. I would not order this again. Fresh hot bread was wonderful. All of us had differentvarieties of steak. We also ordered mushrooms on the side which are always amazing. Wife had a filet with blue cheese. Another had the filet, I had steak and shrimp. The only negative thing that I can say about the Keg was the same as statedin previous reviews. I thought the shrimp seemed a little rubbery and was not deveined. I would pass on the shrimp next time. Good gulf shrimp is just hard to find in the Dallas area. We also all had the twice baked potato which is great. Weappreciate this because we make this at home and its a real pain to make. We ended up with a port wine and a slice ofcheesecake. All amazing. The food was great, service was great. For this review, Im giving this 5 stars. I've been to the Keg in other cities, but this was my first time trying this location. I'm glad to report that the high level of... quality I've experienced is displayed here as well. We had an adjustment to our number of guests last minute, and despite itbeing a busy day, they were able to help us include one more person. Our server was outstanding for knowledge of the menu aswell as general banter, and the prime rib was the best I've had since moving to Dallas. The star my meal was the Billy MinerPie, which I demolished despite having a full meal prior. I will absolutely be back. Read more
