Had a great meal here! Ordered the naan basket, achari gosht, butter chicken, and molli with Mahi Mahi. Dessert was gulab jamun... and saffron kulfi. Entrees came with a small bowl of rice each. Serving sizes are on the smaller side and I was worried itwouldn't be enough for the 3 of us. but it ended up being just about right. Each dish had a different set of wonderful flavors. Our server was David and he did a great job. Just the right amount of contact, and very knowledgeable. Only thing I didn't likewas that the food was not hot when it arrived. Read more

Visited the yellow chilli to try Indian fine dine, was not disappointed, the menu is curated well enough for you to try various... flavors of dishes mostly comprised of North Indian cuisine. The food was not too spicy and the portions were a bit small. Theirraw mango drink and litchi drink are too good. Try to visit the restaurant during non weekend so you can try their vast menu..we visited during a weekend and they only served their brunch menu which has limited options. The staff were friendly and thereis plenty of parking available. Read more

Loved the restaurant’s vibe, nice ambience. For the price that we paid, food is not excellent. But, the quality of food is... good. Food still lacks some flavor, a little blend in my opinion. Read more

We went there on the occasion of Mother’s Day. And was amazed by the hospitality that we received. Food was really awesome.... Even though they were over priced, but it was all worth it. Each and every dish that we ordered were presented uniquely and theyall were super delicious. Read more

Service was excellent and very friendly staff. George did a great job in taking care of us. The ambiance was okay; I would say... not up to the mark of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor's mark frankly! Some of the dishes were below average, e.g. crispy rolls were actuallysimply spring rolls. Sham Savera and Paneer Tikka were really nice. Masala papad was not that great. I would say 3.5 stars forsuch a famous celebrity chef. Too pricy for the quality of the dish. One time, trying worth but wouldn't go again... could getbetter taste in other Indian restaurants around the city easily for muchesser price. For party of 8 bill was $240+ includingtaxes and gratuity! Read more

We wanted to go here for quite sometime and 03/20 was the day when we got an opportunity to go. My cousin was giving a party and... at first we decided for Thai but decided to go here finally. Since we are party of 8, we booked in advance (they wanted to takeCredit card information and if not turned up $10 per person penalty). That was something unusual as never I had this experiencebefore. Anyways, the table was ready and we had a bottle of wine (suggested by our waitress), veggie Platter, panner and acutlet kind (the names for dishes in this restaurant are well thought of) as appetizers, Kids liked so much that we adult gothardly anything to eat ???? Main course items were bit sweet but tasty and bread basket had very nice breads. Overall Ambience,Music and Food all was good. It’s a pricey restaurant but worth to eat. As their slogan it is indeed “redefine IndianFood” I would go again Read more

I was quite excited to check out Yellow Chilli, I am from an Indian origin and Sanjeev Kapur is one of the famous chefs in India... so I had very high expectations but I would say was quite disappointed before I left. Ambiance and setup is like a casual diningplace, not fine dining. Music playing in there was quite loud and a random assortment of music not curated to build up theenvironment. Servers had little to no knowledge of what they were serving and quite a bit in hurry to not take any time toanswer any questions. But the worst for me was that at the time of ordering, I was told that I only have an hour to eat and getout as they have other reservations for the table. In my 25 years of eating out at a variety of places from upscale fine diningto mom and pop joints, I have never been asked to get done with my business in 1 hour and leave. As we were told to leave, wekept an eye on the empty tables and for the duration of 1 hour that we were there, at least 6 tables were empty at any givenpoint so did not understand the point of rushing a guest when the restaurant had free tables all over. 0 stars for service allthroughout. As we got the food, for most part it was middle of the road in terms of the taste and did not find anything special,so would not give more then 3 stars to it as well. Overall, I would not recommend anyone to this place. Not a value for the buckand there are plenty of restaurants around in DFW where you will find much better food with better service. Read more

This restaurant had been on my to-go list for quite some time and I was lucky enough to finally try it out today. I liked the... cozy aesthetics of this place. And Tanya, our waitress, was super friendly and quick to offer us with suggestions. Everything weordered tasted good, however, I would probably not return back. This is due to the fact that I felt I didn’t get my money’sworth. I don’t mind paying a little more than the average restaurant, however, nothing really impressed me for the price paid.$17 for four small spinach dumplings in tomato sauce? No thanks. Therefore, I would prefer to go elsewhere next time. But Iwould still give The Yellow Chilli four stars for food and friendly service. Read more
